Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would the 1500 hold the Canon c200 in the standard ready to shoot configuration? Ideally with the Sigma 18-35/2. Also wondering if I purchase a second case could it hold the Sigma 35/1.4, Sigma 70-200/2.8, Canon 85/1.2II, Canon 100/2.8L, and a Canon 10-18/4.5-5.6. Thanks in advance for your help!

A: It will not. This case is far too small to handle a fully built up C200. It would not be something we'd advise purchasing for a broken down C200 either.

Q: 2. Is it newly designed 1150? I heard that newly designed 1150 case is a little bit more convinient and pretty than older one.I wanna buy a Desert Tan, but an image on website is old style - that is black and white sticker.

A: not sure if newly designed or not. only know that when i got it, it felt so much smaller than when i laid out the measurements before i bought it. otherwise, it is a small and lovely case. just small.

Q: 3. Can it hold a canon rebel t5 and two lenses?

A: This would depend on the lenses you wish to carry, but a T5 body will fit in the case.

Q: 4. what is the most significant difference between this 1500 and the iM2370? (Apart from the slight size difference.)

A: The most notable difference are the latches. The 1500 have the older style latches that take a bit more effort to lock and unlock. The IM2370 has the push button latch which makes opening and closing the case easier in my opinion.

Q: 5. Will I need to get a desiccant to put in the case? I would be using it with a DR-100mkii audio recorder, and I don't know if humidity changes only affect cameras/optical devices. I live in an area with cold winters and humid summers.

A: I bought mine to keep a pair of Image Stabilized Binoculars in. If you put any kind of electronics in it, I would recommend using a desiccant. I have a much larger case that I keep a Digital Camera, lenses, and an Image Stabilized Spotting scope in and use the same color changing desiccant that I do with the binoculars. When it turns light pink, it is time to change it and dry it out for re-use.

Q: 6. I would like to use this in a kayak. Will this case float is loaded with camera gear?

A: It has a buoyancy rating of 50 pounds which means you can put up to 50 pounds in the case and it will still float.

Q: 7. Can you get replacement foam pieces for this case in case needs change?

A: Yes you can! https://bhpho.to/3Asgkz4

Q: 8. I have a Blackmagic pocket cinema 4K. I have a rig case and a side handle. According to inside dimensions it looks as though it will fit. Any comments or feedback?

A: This case has internal dimensions of 16.8 x 11.2 x 6.1 inches. That is more than enough space for the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K alone. If the cage is tight to the body it should fit as well. You would just need to measure out the exact specs of your rig to make sure it would fit.

Q: 9. Can I fit a Sony A7II, Sony Zeiss 55/1.8, Loxia 21/2.8, spare batteries, charger, filters, and SD card holder in this? Or do I need to go with the 1400?

A: You'll probably have to run the 1400. For 2 lenses, it's small.

Q: 10. Will a Vortex Razor 20-60x85 spotting scope fit in this case?

A: Yes this scope would fit in this case.

[Yes] I bought this to hold my hard drives. It can fit two side by side without removing any foam. It's a very sturdy case that does the job.

[Latch] Purchased this for check in luggage on long haul flight as there were travel restrictions on anything larger than a cell phone in the cabin. Build quality is solid, locks are nice with added feature to add your tsa/personal padlocks. Great alternative to other cases that are more expensive but provide the same amount of protection. My only complaint is that I wish the pick and pluck foam could be removed at different levels instead of needing to slice it. That could lean to sections that aren't level. Other than that will be purchasing bigger cases as more equipment is purchased.

[Universal] This is a good sturdy case for the DJI Phantom drone. The case is a hard shell but is not as crush resistant as the Pelican case. If you want to protect for normal carry situations this is the one for the money! the foam insert is good quality and will remove easily as needed. I found a video on YouTube of a guy showing step by step how to for Drone.

[Handheld Only] I needed a durable case for my new LED Panel Lights. The case is just as tough and well built as more expensive cases. I shaped the foam insert for my lights and everything is great1

[Latch] This purchase of the pre-cut case for my Redrock Micro Mattebox was a worthy one--not cheap, but worth it. The Mattebox et al fits snugly and the design of the case even allows me to store a few extra needed things, like tools and cables. And the shipping from B&H as always was efficient. No issues at all. Bill

[Yes] I already bought one of these for my DJI Phantom 3 pro. It is a great case at half of the cost of a Pelican. It has pick foam so you can set up how you like for great fit and secured while carrying. The case has a place to place locks while traveling too. The only bad I can say is that like any pick foam, over time the surrounding pieces will start to loosen and try to come apart. This case was bought for matterport camera system and is a perfect fit. I love the toughness of this case and the carry handle along with the pull up handle and wheels makes this a great case for mobility.

[Universal] Substantially better price than the similar sized much heavier Pelican case I own. *Maybe* not as tough, but close and did I mention much lighter . . . I will be purchasing more cases from Seahorse.

[Latch] I used to carry a lot of items in a basic bag with similar storage but the strain on my back became too much and having the ability to stroll along with the 2 wheels was a definite plus. Make sure you pick the right size though because I didn't realize how much I had till I had to organize it all in there but luckily for me it all fit perfectly, snug lol
