[Black] Finally had an opportunity to get out my telescope over the weekend and use the new twist lock 90 degree diagonal. The twist lock is excellent. So much easier than fumbling for the little screws that you have to finger tighten. The only negative I can say is that the twist lock needs to be tightened a lot if you have a variable eye-piece. I have a Celestron 8-24mm lens and I needed to tighten the twist lock quite a bit. Honestly, it is a minor inconvenience if I have to hold the lens when I adjust it. The 1.25 Twist Lock

[2.355 lb] What's not to like, I just received this about an hour ago and it has been cloudy for the last few days, now it is raining. Typical for an astro purchase.
This diagonal is just what my Celestron 8 has been needing, the twist lock is extremely nice, the heft and looking at the glass inside is just perfect.
I will leave another review after the cloud gods have forgiven my purchase and I get it out under the night sky.

[Black] I got this diagonal to upgrade from the 1.25 diagonal that came with the telescope. It appears to be of good quality and I really like the twist lock feature to secure the eyepieces. This is the only diagonal I have used, so I really cannot make a comparison to others, but I am pleased with the bright and clear views it provides.

[16 AWG] This diagonal has changed me for the better. I have another 2 inch diagonal that I was always fumbling with the tiny set screws to lock and unlock eyepieces and sometimes dropping them in the grass.
No More, the twist lock function on this is just great, no more fumbling with the screws. With the included snout it can be used as either an SCT or refractor diagonal.
Absolutely a fine product and for my shaky old hands, a blessing.

[2.355 lb] This is a perfect upgrade and a must have for my SCT scope. It boasts High quality build and sleek design. This is a necessary upgrade from the stock diagonal that came with my scope!

[16 AWG] My original Star Diagonal had a plastic body, I ended up over twisting the lens into it which cracked the body and never allowed me to secure the eye piece on properly again. This replacement was a great upgrade, quality and feel is awesome, eye piece changes are quick and precise.

[16 AWG] I bought this to replace the standard star diagonal that came with my Celestron CPC-1100 telescope. The main reason I purchased this was for the twist-lock (or click-lock) feature. I hated the set screws used in traditional star diagonals, which make changing eyepieces less then desirable. This is especially true in colder weather. This star diagonal makes swapping out eyepieces easy!

This diagonal model from Celestron is very robust and convenient. It is ideal for holding a binoviewer with a pair of heavy zooms. I really appreciate the twist-lock function. It is smooth yet offering a clean and solid grip. Eyepieces can be replaced in no time. The whole assembly is of high quality material. Top tier scopes like the 8SE deserve to be equipped with such high-end diagonal instead of the 1.25 standard that comes with them. It opens the doors to many possibilities.

[2.355 lb] Solid, well made, and works as advertised.  I use it for panoramic shots on a P1 ball head.  Took a little adjusting, but that was easy.
