The black Seahorse SE730 Protective Case with Foam Interior & Locksis watertight, airtight, and crush resistant. This case has an automatic pressure purge system with an O-Ring to ensure a tight seal. This valve automatically activates upon closing the case and the pressure is released when you open the latches. This case has molded-in padlock holes that can accept TSA standard padlocks. There are four internal mounting bosses in the bottom of the case which use 1/4" self tapping screws.

A: Yes, there is access to the 1/4"-20 mounting hole when the bottom panel is opened.

A: Although designed to hold the Zoom H5 recorder, the Zoom PCH-5 Protective Case for Zoom H5 Handy Recorder will likely accommodate the Zoom H4n Pro as well. Both recorders are of similar dimensions and form factor.

A: We have not tested the new, yet unavailable unit with this bag, but we would not recommend it, as the bag is specifically tailored for the 400 and the foam inserts are custom-cut to securely fit all the components in the kit.

A: This case does not have a means of affixing a strap; the intended mounting method is with the belt loop on the back of the case, the loop at the bottom of the case is intended as a key ring.

A: A hood will fit if attached to the lens in reverse for storage.

Q: 10. I never use any of the Mic Heads. Can the cover to this case fit down tight to the H6 without leaving a large airgap where the Mic Head would normally be?

A: The hood can be brought down lower onto the rest of the case, but it would block the top XLR inputs on the left and right of the Zoom H6.
