A: It looks as though you can mount onto foam core--although we do not do so here. I would keep the temperature on the low side to not melt the foam core-no higher than 185-190? and maybe adjust the pressure if needed. I found the manual online that speaks a little bit to foam core use (but I can't place the link here)And there is a type of foam core that has the adhesive already on it (but I can't place that link here either...): it's called Speed Mount by Bainbridge.It looks like many people have success with foam core--hope this helps!

A: Yes, you will be able to put this Assembly on a Glidecam HD 2000 and the quick release plate will work on the 5D Mark III. This would be a great choice.

A: This press can be used to dry mount digital prints with the help of the D&K Fusion 4000 Dry Mounting Tissue - 24 x 30 yd. B&H # DKFS40002430 .

Q: 6. What is the largest print you can dry mount? How do you dry mount prints that are larger than 18 x 23?

A: I do a lot of 16x20 prints, but to do larger than that , say a 20x30, you just pass the print through the press and do it in sections. Just make sure you don't over lap the mounting tissue if it's not large enough to cover your entire size, or you will see a line in your final print.

Q: 7. Wondering if unit can be used to heat press lining to fabric?

A: I am not exactly sure of what mean by this application. If the temperature range is ok for the adhesive I don't see why not. The ends are open such that wider material can protrude from the sides.

Q: 8. is the input line or mic?

A: It's a passive box, so whatever you feed it is what will come out. I've done both line and mic level.

Q: 9. If I use this QR adapter on my 15LWS shoulder rig, will the camera remain centered (left/right) between my rails? I need to know if I can use it with my matte box.

A: Yes, the 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 connection threads on the bottom of the assembly are in line with where the screws are on the quick release plate. This will not move the camera laterally at all.
