Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Do you wind before first use?

A: You would wind just a tiny bit to advance to the exposure numbered 27, take the first picture, then wind and it counts down to exposure number 26, and so on.

Q: 2. what is the focal length?

A: That information is not listed by Fujifilm. We would be of the opinion that the focal length of this camera would be in the range of 28mm-32mm for a medium wide field of view.

Q: 3. When is the expiration date for this product? Thank you

A: As long as they are kept at room temp, they will be good for years. They work well for underwater pics...but deliver horrible terrestrial photos.

Q: 4. Does this camera use a glass lens?

A: The Kodak 35mm One-Time-Use Disposable Camera (ISO-800) with Flash - 27 Exposures does not have a glass lens.

Q: 5. Can you please advise me of an agent who can develop film from a Kodak Max Camera in Western Australia?

A: I would try a drug store.

Q: 6. how do I get the fLASH TO WORK?

A: The Kodak 35mm One-Time-Use Disposable Camera (ISO-800) with Flash has a FULLY MANUAL flash that you much charge EACH TIME you wish to use the flash. It is not an automatic flash. When taking images in low-light situations, you would turn the flash on by pressing the flash button (the lightning-bolt shaped symbol on the button near the lens on the front of the camera) and wait for the flash light to appear. Once this light has appeared, the picture can then be taken and the flash will activate. After you have taken a picture using the flash, reset the flash by pressing the flash button again.

Q: 7. What is the focal length and focal ratio of the lens?

A: The Kodak 35mm One-Time-Use Disposable Camera (ISO-800) with Flash - 27 Exposures has a 40mm lens.

Q: 8. What is the normal life of the film? Thinking of getting one for Christmas for use the following September. Would the expiration date cover this amount of time?

A: B&H buys and sells film in bulk. In general we regularly maintain fresh film stock. All of our film is at least 6 months from expiration (typically much longer). Anytime film stock is less than 6 months from expiration we sell it in a separate section and label it as short-dated film and also price it with a slight discount (again due to the volumes we sell this rarely occurs). Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to hand inspect the expiration date of any of our films prior to purchase.

Q: 9. Does this camera have a flash?

A: I cant remember if it had a flash but I bought it last year and the pictures came out terrible. Not that I had high expectations but I hoped I'd at least get a few decent shots in. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I wouldn't buy it again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone (this goes for disposable (underwater) cameras general; not just this make/model)

Q: 10. can camera go through airport xray machine?

A: I had no problems with quicksnap 800 developing photos that went through airport xray

[400 GB] Used this camera on Vacation in the Bahamas. My wife and I were swimming with Dolphins and this camera worked flawlessly. All the Pictures came out, even ones taken undertwater (about 10ft). I'm used to looking through the viewfinder, I own a digital SLR. Was easy to use everything was straight forward. Will definately buy another for the same purpose.
