[3.22 lb] Have to say this light is awesome and it is my go to Key light. It's so versatile.
So much power for a flexible light I rarely get above 50%.
I used to punch my hard key lights through soft boxes and 6x6 silks. This obviously includes a lot more stands and grip gear.
Now I can get a similar look with a lot less gear and effort.
I actually owned the megalite cloth 2.0 model before upgrading to this 3.0 version. So many great improvements on this current model. Intellytech really listen to their customers. Lots of welcome upgrades

[3.22 lb] This is SUCH a huge improvement over the hot & heavy lights of the past.

Loving the ease of use and portability, neatly packing into a really cool pelican-style case.

The controller has amazing build quality, smooth moving knobs and responsive touch screen.

The super sturdy mounting hardware makes it quick and easy to deploy with flexibility and confidence. Had a nice long IEC cable to go to the dc converter.

[3.22 lb] I travel a ton and am on location a bunch. I uses this light ALL THE TIME for interviews, set lighting, etc. Not only is it light, but it's battery powered (I use the IntellyTech Pocket-Vs to power it), I can pretty much take this thing anywhere. Also, it's super reliable. I've had mine for a bit over a year, used it a bunch, and have never had a problem. Well made, light is clean and consistent and easy to pack. Nothing by love for this light!

[3.22 lb] This light has been very popular on jobs. It's been asked to fly out on menace arms, minibooms, and other rigs. Quality seems good. The softbox velcros were torn out by a crew mate but they were easily sewn back. The case is a bit big. I do wish I had ordered the CRMX version but it wasn't in stock when I got it.

[3.22 lb] I purchased the Intellytech LC-160 for my home office.
I needed to upgrade my lighting for video calls and I also need to make video lectures for work.


I initially purchased a cheap LED panel and while I still use it for fill, the LC-160 was a huge upgrade in terms of performance. I have more control over the color of the light and intensity.


There are a couple of minor things...

1) AC cord to the controller box is loose so it can become unplugged easily. This could be good or bad... I'd rather lose power to a light than to have my rig pulled over.


2) Because its a Battery or AC connection, you can't use the auxiliary DTAP port unless you are using a battery to supply the light so you can't power your other devices. (I built out DLSR Video Shooter's studio on a stand) I wanted to use it to also power camera and my Atomos Ninja Inferno. (All on the same stand.) It would be nice to be able to use the DTAP, but I guess you can't have everything. Of course going with a battery, it would solve this issue.



For a third bullet, I would have included cost. While its not cheap, its definitely better built than other options. When COVID-19 restrictions end. I can easily pack this up in either their hard case. Because I can fold it... much easier to transport than the rolled up mats.

If your budget can afford it... its worth the price.

[3.22 lb] As soon as I saw the reviews, I thought this would be a great way of saving time on set. And it is! There are no resellers in the UK so we ordered from B&H and it had arrived a few days later in great condition. For the price it's a great fast way of adding light. We used it on set yesterday for the first time. Blasted a Nanlite 500 and a 300 through it to add a natural soft light source to a loose set and it worked extremely well. I'd recommend this for a quick setup and when you want a larger light source than a soft box, or a back light for a larger setup. Only negative is it takes a long time to add the grid diffusion to the softbox, so once that's on there you won't want to remove it!

[3.22 lb] Love how compact, soft/bright, and color accurate this light is at tungsten. Just note that it does not come with a remote control and the header cable is not very long from light panel to control box. Be prepared to buy either or both the remote control or an extension cable to go along with this.

[3.22 lb] Once you buildnit the first time, yiu can fol it wit the diffusion and grid. Tha clamps with pin that come with it are OK, but not great, i prefer cardelini clamps or even mafer clamps.

[3.22 lb] This light shines in so many categories. It’s K values perfectly match my Canon, Boling P1s, and AL-MCs. These so much range in there 0-100% brightness values. I use it as a Key Light for streaming church services and YouTube videos. The Velcro on both the light and the stand is very strong and leaves you feeling safe when the light is 10ft in the air.

There consumer service is amazing too. I was caught in a pinch and the helped me come though my lighting needs and questions. S/O to AAron!!

The remote is a life changer. Get the remote.

PS. Don’t fool with Pigeon Eyes version it will stop working and they won’t help you. First hand experience here.

[3.22 lb] A necessary accessory that I wish was included to begin with. Decent price though for a good quality cable and seems like it would last through some abuse.
