The Lynx Technik AG Dual-Channel 3Gbit SDI to Fiber Transmitter (6.2 mi) is designed to combat the restrictions involved with the distribution of uncompressed broadcast-quality video signals over a long distance.

Pairing of this transmitter with the dual-channel fiber optic to SDI receiver (such as yellobrik ORR 1802) acts as a dual-channel optical transmission system for signals up to a resolution of 1080p60 (3Gbit/s) while preserving full uncompressed quality.

Each channel is fully independent and will auto-detect any video signal from 270Mbit/s to 3Gbit/s according to SMPTE 424M, SMPTE 292M, and SMPTE 259M standards, as well as DVB-ASI.

[1.22 lb] I rent my studio out to other photographers, instead of leaving out my pocket wizards or godox triggers. I bought these little guys. They attach straight to the strobes power cable and into the light. I have a few back ups also. Great for beginners that need something to plug and play.

[1.22 lb] Working with a variety of mics and combinations of wireless handheld, lavs, and cabled, enable me to use this wireless handheld where and how I need it. Easy switching of the channels, easy access to the switches, and quick and easy connection to the mic itself, makes this wireless transmitter a 2 thumbs up for me. Only Con is that it's a bit bulky.

[1.22 lb] these work very well with impacts monolight package, I can't see myself using wires ever. I don't like the fact I have to put it back in the original packaging to keep them safe if impact can make a built in case for them or even a cloth bag that would be nice .

[1.22 lb] Don't let anyone tell you you MUST go with teredek. Unless you have an AC needing to pull a sports or dancing scene, these will work for darn near everything else.

The mobile app ironically has the least amount of latency followed by a full SDI pipeline. If latency is of no concern, HDMI can be used.

Also, I just learned today that the receiver can output SDI and HDMI simultaneously to send to two different monitors at once! Now director can have a monitor, and I can send another feed to the client monitor with no issue.

I got these in addition to a pair of the Monitor transceivers for a full wireless video kit. This is in addition to my Teredek if latency is of any concern.

If you're just starting out, this should be your first wireless kit. Skip the cheaper HDMI version and go straight to this as it's not an if but a when you run into SDI equipment, you'll be ready to go.
