Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I detach the CPL filter out from the holder, and put other 52mm filter on it ?

A: Yes you can do that. You do have to know, not every 52mm filter will fit but with trial and error you can apply many different filters. (no star or cross however)

Q: 2. This filter holder would work with the Sigma 14mm 1.8 Art?

A: No, the NiSi V6 100mm Filter Holder Kit with Enhanced Circular Polarizer Filter, B&H # NIPFH100V6EN, would not be compatible for use with the Sigma 14mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art Lens for Canon EF. If you are looking for an option that would be compatible for use with the Sigma 14mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art Lens for Canon EF, I would instead recommend the NiSi 150mm Filter Holder for Sigma 14mm Art Lens, B&H # NIPFH150SI14, for your usage needs. The NiSi 150mm Filter Holder for Sigma 14mm Art Lens accepts the larger 150mm wide filters.

Q: 3. Will this filter holder work with Singh ray mo slo 100x100 filters? Thank you for your time.

A: Yes, the Singh ray mo slo 100x100 filters will fit into the NiSi V6 100mm Filter Holder.

Q: 4. Can this system be used without the CPL?

A: Yes, you can take the CPL off.

Q: 5. Will this fit on a Laowa 12mm f2 for Sony-E lens? Do I need to buy step down rings?

A: I do not see an f/2 version of that lens, but if you are referring to the Laowa 12mm f/2.8, this is the one that you would need to fit properly. NIP10012LALP

Q: 6. Will the Nisi V6 holder accomodate my Lee 100mm filters?

A: Yes it will

Q: 7. would this work with Sigma 70mm macro with 49mm front threads, Sony FE 55mm 1.8 with 49mm threads, and Sony 16-70mm with 55mm threads?

[72 mm] For early morning and late afternoon drone videos, the footage has beautiful colors and smooth gradations. A must have for Mavic Air 2 pilots. If I have to film in the bright sun, middle of the day, I use NDs instead.

[Glass] I bought this NiSi 77mm PRO Protection Filter based on the review by Nasim Mansurov (of Photography Life website) instead of purchasing the Nikon 77mm NC filter because of some reviewers stating that the Nikon glass separates from the filter ring and there is no warranty by Nikon on lens filters. Using the Nikon Z9 Mirrorless Camera with FTZ II Adapter and the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR Lens with the NiSi 77mm PRO Protection Filter, the Z9 capture images with great clarity and also provide protection to my Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 Lens. Attached are the images I took on the 2 red cars of my neighbour to show the optical performance of this Nisi Protection filter. I would buy more of this protective filter for my other Nikon lenses.

[Aluminum] I shoot a lot of indoor, low-light stuff, so I needed to invest in the f/2.8 Sigma lens (can't afford those extra stops in Canon). Begrudgingly got this for landscape photos, and wish I'd never waited!

Yes, it's a drag to carry all these pieces around, but the results, well ...

[72 mm] So far I have no complaints. The FREEWELL filters fit on the Mavic lens easily and clear the gimbal for good mechanical fit and no apparent gimbal stress. Actually may be more lightweight than the Tacos'. Interesting they seem to outperform my Taco RC filters. Each filter is darker than the TACO equivalent. I now use an ND 8 instead of the TACO ND 32. This may be to an error on Taco's labeling side? The little Polarizing filter works well too. No vignetting. Packaging and carrying case remind me of Pro Camera outfits. They've done their homework and I'll give them both a A for effort and A for content. As I use these I'm hoping there won't be any degradation of the filters themselves, but as of now all good. I'll sell my Taco set and these FREEWELL filters will be my go to kit.

[72 mm] Picked these up as my first set of general purpose filters for my Mavic Pro. These are replacing the official DJI ones that I picked up with the Mavic. Those ones had thin plastic-looking tabs (3 of them) per piece and felt flimsy and due to the way they were made, appeared that they might let light into the lens. These ones however are a very sturdy and attractive machined aluminum in black with red accents. They completely conceal the lens like a helmet and there's no chance of light or particulate getting between the filter and the lens. Would definitely recommend if you're just getting into filters and need some all-arounders. If you live in habitually bright places like the American Southwest or somewhere along a beach, you may also want to consider a stronger filter - a 32 or 64.

[72 mm] The Okko 72mm Variable Neutral Density Filter (1 to 9 Stop) works smoothly and does not shift the colors.
