[Aluminum] First time using the Kase magnetic filter system. Used this ND on a trip, and being able to instantly add/remove it from my lens was fantastic. Filter itself worked well without a noticeable color cast. Plan on adding other ND strengths to my kit.

[UV] I've added these adapter rings (inset version) to all of my lenses making the system fast when changing lenses.


*Warning* This inlaid ring 'may' drop down below the threaded section of your lens making it unusable and it's a little difficult to retrieve. Found this with my Canon RF100-500mm L lens. I replaced this inlaid ring with the standard Kase magnetic ring adapter and it's perfect. Stopping installation of the inlaid ring at the edge of the lens body will of course prevent this, but it's not very secure.

[UV] I can't say enough how much I love this. But it does have one minor flaw, and that flaw isn't enough for me to deliver a star.
PROS: * it doesn't seem to effect the image quality or focus. * it's really easy to take on & off. This was my BIGGEST CONCERN, and I was relieved. * Safety! I feel so much more calm about changing lenses outdoors, knowing my sensor won't get scratched.
CONS:
* it attracts dust really bad, like it has static cling. But the security & peace of mind this gives me is totally worth blowing it off when I change a lens. TIP: Get a good blower bulb & censor brush brush when you buy this (if you don't already have one).

[UV] It works perfectly with the Revolution filter system. It's easy to install, fits closer to the lens, and helps prevent vignetting on ultra-wide angle lenses.

[67 mm] Most of my lenses are 67mm so it is essential to have an adapter on each of the lenses so I can switch lenses and not have to unscrew the magnetic adapter and put it onto a new lens but can just pop on one of the magnetic filters. I also got the lens caps for each of the lenses. Kase's magnetic properties on these accessories is pretty darn strong. I don't have to hear about having the filter fall off because the magnets not hard enough.

[UV] Of the many manufacturers of magnetic filters, only Kase (as far as I know) offers the inlaid rings, which nest inside the lens' filter threads, reducing the risk of vignetting when you stack filters. The only disadvantage is you need to use the provided tool to hold the ring for installation and removal.

I bought this kit for 67mm, 72mm, and 77mm for a second benefit, to make it even easier to use my 82mm mag. filters with my smaller-diameter lenses. Installing the inlaid adapter lets me use the regular lens cap and hood until I need one of the filters. When I do, I can quickly attach the magnetic adapter (*different* from the regular screw-in adapters) to the inlaid adapter, then add filters.

However, the lens caps for my Sony lenses no longer have enough filter thread to grasp. I bought separate magnetic caps for them (but see my review of those...). For my Sigma lenses, the regular lens caps still work fine.

[67 mm] Works great as advertised

[Glass] I own the Kase Revolution Pro ND filter kit and this UV filter is made to work with the kit. Like all the Kase products I own, this is well made and easy to attach to the lens. I will be buying more of these for the rest of my lens.

[UV] The Case Wolverine Revolution system is simply the best out there right now that I've tried. The ingenious two-piece magnetic system makes changing filters (literally) a snap. The adapter ring sits very unobtrusively on your lens, and the filter(s) are almost impossibly thin as a result.

As for this particular ND filter? We took it to Albuquerque to photograph the annular eclipse in October 2023, and it was excellent. I'm not the most-experienced solar photographer, but the 16.5-stop measurement seemed to be about perfect for the job. I look forward to getting other filters in this size to use for different applications.

[67 mm] If you’re going to switch to magnetic filters, it’s worth having an adapter on every lens so you can swap filters quickly with your whole kit. This version is the most slim combo as it screws down inside the lens threads instead of sitting on top like an extra filter. I’ve threaded mine into existing screw in UV filters I keep on at all times for protection. Works great.
