I currently have an NTG3 Rode Shotgun Mic, so I'd want to match that quality with a lavalier that can be used on a ursa mini 4k with XLR inputs, wireless to the lavalier location. I'd appreciate any suggestions for budget and best for price, what do the experts think?

Q: 9. I bought two of these mics. I record a podcast in a car and use these mics. The problem is that it seems that any movement of the mic cable causes feedback in the recording... I don't understand why it is so sensitive. An arm brushing up to the mic cause noticeable audio distortion. any ideas?

A: could be a bad cable, or connection. If same thing is happening with both mics, try either with windscreen on, with windscreen off.

Q: 10. Does this microphone have GSM or cell phone interference? I have the AT803b, and I get interference from GSM cell phones near the microphone.

A: I haven't noticed cell interference, but it does have a ton of handling noise. Even the faintest fabric rustle is pretty noticeable.

[1 to 10 V] We needed a lav mic that had a Cardioid pickup pattern, durability, with a natural true to source sound quality. This microphone delivered on all points. And the gain before feedback aspect was an enormous bonus. Omni directional pickup pattern s on a lav mic is what is usually suggested. But in a live situation with a 40,000 watt pa, cardioid is definitely the way to go. We are very pleased with the results and will be replacing all of our lav mics with this model.

[Plug-In Power] I purchased this microphone to use on a guitar for live sound. Works great for live and recording. It's quick and easy. It has a warm and natural sound. I would purchase another if needed. As with all AT mics I've owned, great quality and value for the price.
