[12 VDC at 2 A] I purchased 5 of these for use in in a Synology 1522. As others have warned, you get a warning message but after accepting, the Synology shows these as healthy and has no issues using them. Write performance in a RAID 6 has no trouble maxing a 1GbE connection. I’m sure 2.5 would be no issue. Internal read/write speeds during the array build were 1.3GB/s so each drive was yielding about 250MB/s. I did have one arrive DOA. B&H exchange for a replacement was painless. Once the replacement arrived, no issues. Other reviews have commented on noise. These are quiet as compared to the 6 - 16TB Exos drives in my 1621. I’m sure in a dead silent room these have mechanical noise but this shouldn’t be noticeable if placed in a closet or out of the way. Overall, I’m very happy with the 24TB Ironwolf’s and would purchase again. 5

[550 TB] This is a great hard drive for server use or file backups, which is using this for both. If I need to expand my storage needs these are the first I'd consider getting again. 5

[20 TB] Upgrading my NAS from 8x 4TB Drives to 8x 6TB drives for more capacity. I have bought four of these drives so far and they are working exactly as they should. I'll buy the other four next month and finish the upgrade. Very happy with them in my FreeNAS build. I am running a Raid-Z2 for redundancy and so my available space was approx 20TB before and it will be approx 32TB after. Plenty of room for our photos, videos, projects, home storage, audio, etc. For now anyway. 5

[12 VDC at 2 A] I'm not devoted to any particular brand of mechanical HDD; over many years I've had reliable service from a wide variety of Seagate and WD drives. The lower tier OEM drives installed in pre-built mass market computers tend to have slower read/write speeds, which can be annoying. This Seagate NAS HDD, which is definitely not lower tier, is quiet, reliable, and delivers about 220 MB/Sec. 5

[550 TB] I read some reviews here that say this drive is loud when it seeks, but that is not been my experience. For a NAS drive it's very quiet. As far as quality goes, I won't know for a year or so, but we used these at work and never had any trouble. This is used as a backup drive so it's always spinning and online. 5

[20 TB] This is a bare drive ready to install. All that needs to be done is hook up the power and SATA cable then initialize and format the drive. The drive is nice and quiet. It was designed to be running all day every day for years, unlike some consumer drives. 5
