A: Smartphones feature a jack that carries both headphone and mic signal. These are not directly compatible with a standard 3.5mm TRS connector. In order to use the Pro70 with an iPhone, you will need an additional adapter with the cable you already have such as the MyMyk connection cable a href= http://bhpho.to/162F02q. target= _blank http://bhpho.to/162F02q./a There is also a single cable solution from Sescom that will allow an XLR connection directly to the phone. See the following link: a href= http://bhpho.to/1E8vFQB target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1E8vFQB/a This cable also allows you to keep the headphone connection as well.

Q: 8. Is this wireless to the receiver/amp?

A: It is not a wireless microphone at all.

Q: 9. Do I need a power module or can I just plug this into a mini-XLR to XLR adapter and power it with phantom?

A: This version of it has an unterminated cable. This one (AUAT831B) comes with the power module and then you can take an xlr cable out of the module.
