Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this case good for protecting a tripod and other items inside when checking it for air travel?

A: For higher tripod protection demand we suggest the HPRC 6300 HPRC 6300 Wheeled Hard Resin Case with Tripod Holder Kit (Black) BH #HP6300WTRIBK • MFR #HPRC6300WTRIBLB https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1618169-REG/hprc_hprc6300wtriblb_6300_wheeled_rolling_resin.html

Q: 2. How many regular light stands could this carry?

A: We currently use 3 heavy-duty Avenger light stands in there, with plenty of room to spare. I think you could easily get 2 more of these large stands in with no problem. If you're talking about smaller, thinner stands, I'd estimate 7-8 or more. My one piece of advice would be to get the version of this bag with wheels. We did not and it can get pretty heavy and bulky real quick.

Q: 3. Can I fit an Arri Skypanel S30 in this?

A: the 1x1 lights sit one behind another, not side by side. Any light wider than 1x1 would not fit.

Q: 4. How many led panels does this hold?

A: This can only carry one Aputure Light Storm LS1s/LS1c panel.

Q: 5. Will a GT4553S with an attached Swarovski Professional Tripod Head fit this bag? Thanks

A: Yes, the TLQB-35 can accommodate the Gitzo GT4553S with the Swarovski Professional Tripod Head.

Q: 6. 2 part- do the dimensions fall under the 62 inches for checked bags and would I be able to fit 2 tripod (40 & 35 inches) and 2 light stands?

A: Yes, the exterior dimensions would add up below a 62 inch limit.

Q: 7. What are the dimensions of this bag?

A: As per the specifications tab, the interior dimensions of the bag are 18 x 7.0 x 13.5 , while the exterior dimensions are 19 x 9.75 x 15 .

Q: 8. Can you mount this to a c stand with a standard grip head or do you need the Lastolite grip head for Skylite?

A: I had ordered the Lastolite grip heads but at the time I ordered 2 of them to hold my large 6.5x6.5 Skylite panel, they were on back order & no time was given for when they would become available. I did wait for some time but when they still weren't available, I went with another type of holder that I already had several of to hold my TriFlip Grip Lastolite Reflector! I bought 2 Impact Umbrella Swivels, along with 2 Impact Super Clamps and a couple of spigots so I could mount the umbrella holders onto a light stand or C-Stand, then mounted the Super Clamps onto the umbrella swivels. You don't necessarily need the swivels but having them allows the angling of the panel into any position that you want it in! I recommend getting them! The reason I am recommending the Impact Swivels is for the small teeth in the swivel part of the device that holds a lot better than my Manfrotto swivels! So to list the items to get to make your life that much esker, here is a list of items to get! I would think that 1 set of these would hold the small panel! I have this panel & have used just 1 set up of these items & it works really well! 1 - Impact Super Clamp1 - Impact Umbrella Swivel1 - Impact Spigot - Used to hold swivel to light stand(maybe not needed but nice to have a spare)The Super Clamp comes with a special stud that can be used to attach it to the swivel, then you would need to have a spigot to fasten the swivel onto the stand! I wouldn't try to fasten any of the Skylite panels to a standard grip head due to it not having a wide enough opening to grip it correctly & the regular grip head might bend/crimp the metal on the Skylite panel! The items I have added to this description are cheaper than buying the actual Lastolite Grip Head for Skylite Panel & it works really great! I use my set up all the time & have never had any problems with slippage or bending of the metal frame!I hope this helps you in your decision for holding your Skylite panel!

Q: 9. Why did they put such an ugly wheel on it?

A: Ugly wheels have feelings too.

Q: 10. What are the exterior dimensions of this bag?

A: The PortaBrace TLQB-35 Quick Tripod/Light Case (Black) exterior is approxemelty, 35.5 x 10.5 x 7.5 inches.

[Zipper] Room for everything, nicely padded. Oversized tripod pouch and strap. Huge pockets for cabling and other peripherals. Extra padded Velcro dividers available from PortaBrace. What’s not to like?

[Black] I purchased the CAR-2AUD case to carry gear ancillary to my mobile recording business. This includes spare, compact recorders and I/O interfaces, modems, batteries and miscellaneous data cables. The case is roomy (17"x9"x9"), with semi-rigid walls. It can be stacked with other gear in the car and on a cart. It comes with one lateral partition, but I added two others, unused from other cases, for better separation. There is only limited protection from the elements, so a tarp cover on the cart is useful. It lacks the large front pocket of other CAR bags, which makes it more compact and less likely overstuffed. The quality of materials and construction is very high, as usual, and the zippers are smooth and durable. I've been using Porta-Brace cases for audio and video for over 15 years.

[Yes] Used for a theatre/stagehand gig bag
my bag is 30 long 16 wide and 12 deep.
this bag is cavernous(compared to the two bags it replaced).
with that being said, this bag is truly and solidly built.
It has by the nature of its quality construction and utility
earned five stars

[Black] I recently purchased a Sony PXW-FX9, and after trying a couple of different options, found this to be the best one by far.

The bag is sturdy, well-constructed, and most importantly can fit all of the stuff I need to bring on run-and-gun shoots. Speed and convenience are most important to me, and this case checks all of the boxes.

Spend the extra $$ and get this bag for your FX9. You won't regret it.

[Zipper] I love this case. It holds my Nikon D850 DSLR and five lenses with room to spare. Other cases I looked at were too small. This is a well-made case and I look forward to many years of photography with it.
