A: No. The URSA Broadcast will accept XLR mic inputs for stereo input. The 3.5mm is a combo headphone/mono mic in.

A: CIEMs have the MMCX connector, you can simply snap them on. If they use a different type of connector then you'll want to remove and replace the whole cable assembly.

Q: 6. will this work with a countryman mic??

A: It took me a while to find our old E6 to try. Yes, this headset will hold the countryman in place. The microphone is a bit looser a fit than the Point Source that it is made for and i didn't do exhaustive testing but it seems to me like it would hold up through a production. i took a picture but i don't see a way to attach it.
