Modular synthesizer enthusiasts looking for a simple yet powerful MIDI to CV module will be impressed with the erica synths Hexinverter Mutant Brain, a compact Eurorack-compatible MIDI to CV/gate module, which can serve as the central nervous system of your setup by interfacing your analog modular system with a variety of MIDI equipment and sequencers. With four CV outputs and 12 gate outputs, the module is well suited for percussion, polyphonic notes, and sync duties.

The module responds to up to 5 MIDI channels, allowing for the first 4 channels to control melodic synthesizers components (CV/Gate) signals, while the fifth channel controls gate triggers 5-12, which are assigned by default to C4 to C5 on a MIDI controller keyboard. Mutant Brain Surgery, a free configuration utility allows you to customize the settings and upload the configuration to the Mutant Brain via Sysex commands.

A: Yes, RED does a great job at providing a discount towards their latest tech from older models. Currently, almost all DSMC brains have an upgrade path to their latest DSMC2 line up. Q: 5. Can I engrave a brick with this?

A: The Creality Falcon2 CV-50 22W Laser Engraver & Cutter cannot engrave a brick. You can engrave the following: Wood, Metal, Cardboard, Bamboo, Rubber, Leather, Fabric, Acrylic, and Plastic.

Q: 6. How do you convert the controller for fiber use?

A: So you need to convert both the sdi signal and data signal to a fiber signal. I prefer using a Thor 1-Channel Mini HD-SDI Single-Mode Fiber Optic Extender Kit for each Marshall Camera, but that is just me. It mux’s both signals to one fiber and demux’s at the other end. Q: 7. How much does this weigh total (when battery is connected too)? I’m looking to upgrade from a C100, shooting doc handheld.

A: For the parts that will be used during shooting we have a total weight of 8.85 pounds. However there may be additional weight that you will need to add to this system for shooting. It is highly recommend that for handheld shooting this this camera you will need a shoulder rig. Q: 9. " . . .select popular cameras from other brands." Does that list include the Canon C300 MK II?

A: Not that we are aware of. This product is not compatible with the C300 Mark II.

Q: 10. To be able to hit 7 cameras with the one XLR output, do you just passively split the signal, e.g. jumper a set of jacks on a patch panel together? Or how do you hit multiple?

[Digital] I was looking at this as well as a Role and decided to go with this instead. I'm used to standard-sized keys and playing in standard positions. I can do everything the Role can do (IMO) without having to learn a new way to play. The only hiccup was in setup. I downloaded the files but I couldn't get it working in Logic using their software. I downloaded the full version of Falcon, thinking that that would help, but it didn't. Eventually, I found a tutorial on YouTube and got it working. I don't mind having the full version of Falcon either. Looking forward to making beautiful, expressive music. 5

[8 HP] The controller is sturdy and fully programmable. It works great with the ipad, however you need a PC/Mac to program it the first time. The step sequencer is a great bonus for the price and it is easy to use. I highly recommend this controller. 5

[0.365 lb] I have been using this as a source for automated modulations and a sweeping sweet-spot finder in my patches, overall it frees up some sends for me and I find cool sounds faster 5

[8 HP] I absolutely love this keyboard controller. It has so many features for use with analog and digital device's. I cant say enough good about this. I have had a few other keyboards that said they would work but did not. 5
