[Nikon Z] This lens is absolutely gorgeous. The craftsmanship and quality simply doesn't get any better. I'm using this on my Leica M240. The bokeh is dreamy and the low light performance at f1 allows the camera to shoot at a lower ISO and take much better photos. This is exactly what I've been waiting for. This lens is going to be a legendary one.

[f/16] Love this lens with my Zf, slows me down to get back to photography roots. Character is fantastic, vignetting is much at wide open, but at f/2 mostly gone and can be removed in post. I tried the 50 APO and was about half the price, but his 50 f/1 is just magical.

[f/16] Manual focus works well. Pictures are clear and sharp . Some slight distortion at f1.0

[47.8°] Currently have a Summicron 50 and wanted to add something with a different look. The lens is definitely on the larger size for an M lens, but renders wonderfully and is quite sharp even at F1. I have been using mostly on my SL2-S and it balances well and is easy to focus even wide-open.

[f/1] I use the lens for pictures of my family, and it has helped produce some of my favorite portraits of my kids. While you're likely not buying a f1 for perfection and sharpness... this lens has plenty of sharpness wide open. You get an incredible look with this lens.

I noticed some reviews about dust and thought "hey I wonder if I my lens has some internal dust". I shined a flashlight in there and sure enough... I see a couple big ones in there. The thing is... not a single photo taken with this lens has revealed this dust.

So if you like to shine a flashlight inside your lens and ponder the dust you might be disappointed that the dust appears to be magnified and spooky. However, if you like to take pictures of people, you're going to have a lot of fun doing so with this lens.

[50mm] Sharpness, color rendition and bokeh are just insane from this little gem. It feels like a work of art in your hand. Zone focusing is a breeze, manual focusing with the Z9, Z8, and Z6ii with focus aids takes skill at 1.0, but the rewards are well worth the effort. Sure you could have a 50 1.2 with eye detect for just a bit more, but there's something super special about this lens. A linkage to the best of times gone by. I've shot a fair bit with Nikon's .95 58 S Noct. It's fabulous too, but it's so much bigger and heavier. I'd take this one every time.
