The Kelvin Epos 300 RGB LED Monolight B-Mount Travel Kitfrom Kelvin Epos 300 RGB LED Monolight B-Mount Travel Kitis a 300W-equivalent LED monolight with power control that regulates its output to an accuracy of 0.1%. It is made with a meticulous attention to detail to ensure it outperforms expectations, in both still and video applications. It is built around the Cantastoria Engine, which doesn't use any white LEDs. Instead, it utilizes red, green, blue, amber, cyan and lime, resulting in an infinite color palette of precisely mixed light. The RGBACL light engine design provides a larger CCT range and can produce more saturated colors with more output compared to RGBWW lights. This broad color control range provides both gel effects and customizable lighting effects for added versatility, to suit any lighting requirement. The light head features a 6mm solid aluminum housing that exceeds structural requirements, that better conducts heat away from the light, and it is stronger than creaky plastic. It features a classic Bowens S reflector mount, making it compatible with a wide range of available light modifiers.

The Controller box offers a combination of 5" touchscreen LED analogue controls, and allows the Epos 300 to be controlled remotely using the free to download Kelvin Narrator app for iOS or Android. It also provides wired DMX and Lumen Radio wireless DMX control options. It supports multi-voltage operation for worldwide use, and incorporates dual B-Mount battery plates for use in locations where power mains are unavailable. Note: B-Mount batteries and battery chargers are available separately.

This kit includes an Epos multifunctional rolling case made of durable ballistic nylon. It features rubber wheels, a tow handle, padded internal dividers, and an ID pocket.

[RGB] The option to switch between bi-color & RGB, along with some of the very useful FX options like the firelight option is invaluable to have all in one light. The only thing that I wish about this light (which I'm sure they'll be producing some in the very near future) is a higher wattage. At the time of ordering this light, the 150w was the only available option. 300watts would've been nice but we'll make do with this for now. 5

[RGB] Lightweight. Economic. It's plastic, but for indoor studio use it feels strong enough. It holds a 60 softbox perfectly. After more than 6 months of use, I am still convinced of how useful this light is. Being able to reach almost any light temperature is a great advantage for recording indoors. 5

[Bowens S] I have really loved my portable Godox strobe flash unit with TTL wireless transmitter. This product (aside from not being battery powered) is very much along those lines of quality, versatility, good price and convenience. The fact that it comes with a custom carrying case make it very easy to deploy this in the field. The variable color temperature makes it easy to match the light to the ambient light in any given setting. I find this bright enough for my intended uses, but it's not bright enough to be a key light for a really demanding lighting scenario with small-sensor pro camcorders, where the key light really needs to drive the shot. Rather, this is well suited for a fill light or key light intended to fill shadows and/or create a pleasing catchlight in a subject's eyes, but not to drive the whole scene. For a full-frame mirrorless with fast glass, it absolutely drive your shot. Good quality, brightness, and versatility for the price! 5

[1700 to 20,000K] If you're looking for continuous RGB-LAC light, you've found the right product. I had another brand but they were big, cheaply made and the color was inconsistent. These cost a little more but they are very well made, easy to use and the App is excellent. You can even take a photo of a certain color in the scene and have the lights use that color! At first I thought they may be under powered for photoshoot shoots and video in a studio. They have plenty of power to light a medium size studio. I haven't had to use the special effects (such as Police Car, Candle/Fire, Disco,, etc) but they're easy to get to and looked great when I tried them out. They're also pretty compact. The trade off for its compact size is that the battery is off-camera and will hang on your light stand. On the other hand, you can run these on batteries or plug them in. That's ultimate flexibility. These are so good, I bought 3 of them and will grab the Projection Attachment sooner or later too. 5

[RGB] Aputure does it again. 5 years ago to have an RGB light like this would have cost a fortune and still it wouldn't reach this level. Yes. Aputure has even brighter lights like the Nova series that have their many advantages, but this is so affordable, so easy to use... and you can very confidently buy multiple. An RGB monolight with a bowens mount, amazing color quality, so easy to control with the sidus link app. It's great. 5
