Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you confirm the channels/frequencies? I need Ch D15/D16 (915.30 and 916.80).

A: Since the Nady Dual Channel Digital Handheld/Lapel/Headset Bodypack Wireless System is available by special order only, you can place the order by phone or contact us through live chat and specify the frequencies that you need so we can order it for you.

Q: 2. What are the choices of frequencies. Already have 915.30 aand 916.80?

A: The entire DW-22 series are 900mHz: https://bhpho.to/3gpl5Qh

Q: 3. Can you remove the antennas?

A: No, the antennas in the rear of the DW-22 receiver are not removable, but they can be adjusted for tilt and angle.

Q: 4. The lapel mic on this unit stopped working. What other microphones would work with the transmitters of this unit?

A: You may consider the Azden EX-503 Lavalier Microphone, BH #AZEX503.

Q: 5. Does the unbalanced line out from the receiver plug directly into the 1/8" / 3.5 mm TRS Stereo Microphone Input of a DSLR or do I need some sort of adapter?

A: The Line output connection from the receiver in the Nady DW-44-LT-HM Four-Channel UHF Wireless Microphone System with Four Lavalier Mics & Four HM-3 Headsets will be too loud to connect directly to the 3.5mm Mic input connection of a DSLR camera and will arrive distorted in most cases. This connection could be attenuated with a cable such as the Whirlwind WHH4NL3.5 Line-to-Microphone Attenuator Cable for HDSLR Cameras (BH #WHH4NL3.5) if the output connection is converted to 3.5mm female first.

Q: 6. Could this be used as an input and output of an audio interface to a macbook pro for streaming?

A: This would connect to the input of your interface and work to transmit the microphone audio while streaming. There would be no way to monitor wirelessy.

Q: 7. Hello..is the receiver input is 4 pin mini xlr input?

A: The mic input on the VocoPro bodypack transmitters is a TA3 3-pin mini-XLR connector while the receivers have standard 3-pin XLR and 1/4" connectors. Each receiver module in the VocoPro Digital-Play-8 accommodates four transmitters and offers individual XLR output signals for each mic as well as a single 1/4" output for a combined output signal with a mix of all four mics.

Q: 8. Will this unit work with a digital camera?

A: The Nady DW-22 HTLT Digital Wireless Microphone System has the potential to work with a digital camera, but compatibility would largely be influenced by the capabilities and specifications of the camera. The camera should have an audio input jack capable of receiving an external audio input, and the set would need the proper cables to connect the two units together.

Q: 9. Will the receiver transmit static when the mics are turned off?

A: Whether a receiver creates noise while unpaired to its correlating transmitters is not a specification that manufacturers make known. In theory, the receiver in the Nady DW-22 HTHT Digital Wireless Microphone System should not present any extra noise when not paired to the microphone transmitters. However, as this device operates on open channels, it is susceptible to RF activity in the surrounding area, which could manifest as audible static noise.

Q: 10. Whats a good mixer thats goes with this system?

A: I bought the Behringer XR18. You use your ipad or tablet with it. That's what the salesperson at Sound Ideas in Columbus, Ohio recommended. Hope this helps.

[Non-Diversity] One of our Elders who is out of town Listened to the sermon the Head mike picked up and sent to a mp3 recorder. On his computer he logged on to our website where it was up-loaded and loved it. The sound was crisp and clear.

[Battery] Excellent sound quality with no feedback when operating in front of the speakers. Only concern is with replacement availability of the large battery. I don't understand why they had to use a special size. I would recommend this microphone.

[Mono] Bought for a lav mic. Fits the recorder, mic, and wind covers and tape with a little room left to spare. Inner straps aren't very helpful for my gear as its too small for the straps, but I mostly just need the case to keep my gear from being squished.

[Omnidirectional] I've been using this for teaching for a couple of weeks now and can't find anything to complain about. Sound quality is great, battery life is great. I like having the option of being able to output the two channels separately (balanced outputs) or through a common feed 1/4 or 1/8 unbalanced output.

[Omnidirectional] I needed a case for my Sennheiser XSW-D XLR Base Set Portable Wireless System, and this case did the trick. It comfortably fits 2 pairs of the XSW-D and their charge cords.
