The compact NiSi Macro Focusing Rail NM-200S with 360° Rotating Clampfrom NiSi Macro Focusing Rail NM-200S with 360° Rotating Clampprovides precision camera-to-subject distance control for macro photography using camera/lens combinations up to 11 lb. It's 7.9" in length and features a 7.1" travel length. The integrated Arca-type quick release set rotates a full 360° for full control of camera placement and securely locks with a knob. The rail comes complete with four rubber-tipped feet for tabletop use.

[1.415 lb] having both precise control of minute focusing chnges and a button for quickly moving the camera/lens makes macro focusing easier and sharper.

[1.415 lb] This focusing rail is very well built. Rock solid. I did one focus stack project so far with over two hundred shots and my final image is spot on focused. The mechanism that moves the camera is super smooth and all the knobs etc feel like a precision intrument when operated. I highly recommend this rail...well worth the money.

[1.415 lb] The tooling on the rail is solid so it performs exactly as you would like. I found the legs to be unnecessary, but no worries they are easily unscrewed.

[1.415 lb] The combination of quality and price make this a no brainer. You can spend a great deal more money but you may not get a more functional tool. The acra mount is fantastic. The whole unit is rock solid.

[1.415 lb] I've only had this rail for a short time, and therefore limited use, but so far so good. It feels like a quality build. The screw mechanism works smoothly. I really enjoy the compatibility with the swiss arca tripod mount. It quickly slides onto my tripod head, allowing me to position it several inches forward or back. The camera plate attaches quickly as well. For 100 bucks, I think it's good value!

[1.415 lb] This is a great macro rail for the price. It's got a very simple mechanism with no real play in the tolerances between the moving parts that results in smooth camera movement.

The rail is very light and has a low profile so it doesn't take up much room at all. There's nothing I can really fault with the design.

While it's obvious that the handle introduces a fair amount of wobble due to the off-centre rotation, the wobble is largely from the tripod and head and is only noticeable if you were to try and move the rail from one end to the other quite fast. For focus stacking, this shouldn't be an issue and if so you can always use the thumb screw on the other end.

[1.415 lb] I have owned 3 or 4 different macro rails from various other companies at pretty high price points and this is hands down the best I have used. It is very smooth and gives zero variation between shots. I could lock in on a tiny detail and do a 20 shot focus stack and maintain basically the same frame instead of it bouncing all over the place. The build quality is amazing. It is a hefty piece and I find it very dependable.

The quick release features is sooo useful for locking in to where you want to be quickly.

The feet are solid and high quality however I don't use them, I keep them in the box just in case but I have no real need for them.

I love how many measure marks are all over this thing to standardize your adjustments and really hone your stacking to an increment that you are confident in. Makes everything replicable which as a professional is very important in my workflows.
