A: You should be able to connect it, but the length will be way too short to go around the neck. That's the only thing.

A: Sorry for the late answer. I use this for a Canon 7D battery and it wouldn't fit a battery much larger than that. If you can compare your battery measurements to a Canon 7D, maybe that would help. A: Looks like you got several good answers. I'll just add that the holster will take a strap up to about 1 1/4 wide. The loop is fixed so the strap has to come apart to thread it through.

A: You can still use the E-Z Grip Strap when using an L-bracket; however, you wouldn't need the base plate that comes with the E-Z Grip Strap since the tripod mount area is being used to attach your L-bracket. Instead, you would need to be able to attach the 3/8" webbing of the E-Z Grip Strap to your L-Bracket. As long as you have an area on your L-bracket to attach this webbing, you should still be able to configure the E-Z Grip Strap to work with your set up. I hope that this is helpful. All the best!
