For use with SPG 9000 units, the Telestream 10G Ethernet SFP+ Transceiver Modulefrom Telestream 10G Ethernet SFP+ Transceiver Moduleis used for high speed fiber networks. This transceiver offers 10Gb/s throughput for data transfers. Offering a Wavelength of 850nm, the transceiver is best used to cover distances of up to 300 meters. The transceiver module is designed for use with SFP+ ports.

Support dual leader, dual follower, and follower-with-leader configurations using the two independent PTP ports. This module works with legacy and hybrid SDI/IP facilities thanks to the analog genlock input and multiple sync outputs. The two Ethernet ports test signal streams and the secure web interface allows for easy remote operation.

A: While the Sonnet Solo 10G Thunderbolt 3 to 10 Gigabit Ethernet Fanless Adapter with NBASE-T Support can physically connect to a NAS via Ethernet, it wouldn't allow for direct communication between a computer and the NAS, as the NAS will need to be routed through a network switch first.

[1x RJ45] I was getting transfer speeds just over 100MB/s with the factory 1G card. With the 10G card, I'm seeing reed and write speeds around 500MB/s. I am working with a fairly long run over Cat 5e, so it might be capable of even more. 5

[1x RJ45] I use these on my SX3008F v1.20 and my SG3428X v1.30. I didn't need to do anything special in the Omada Controller for any 10GbE links to any device. I also didn't have to do anything special in the settings when linking the SG3428X to an EAP670, even though the latter has a 2.5GbE port. I used a Trendnet PoE adapter, which connects to the module. With these modules plugged into the 10GbE ports on my SX3008F, and with the other ends of the cables going to my ASUS gaming PC motherboard (2.5 GbE) or to my unmanaged Netgear 5-port switch (1GbE), I needed to check Enable for Flow Control in the Omada Controller for the port. 5

[10 Gb/s] I am using only 1 of the adapters in my TL-SX3008F is working out so far (I don't think more than 1 will work in the low powered switch). It is quite hot compared to the DACs and Fiber SFPs. I am using it along with the TL-POE260S PoE+ injector to provide my EAP670 v2 with a 2.5G ethernet connection. The switch doesn't let you choose 2500Mbps on the port because it isn't supported, but it does link at 2500Mbps. 5

[850 nm] Super Simple plug and play into a Synology DS723+. When connected to my Dell XPS via Thunderbolt 4 to an OWC Ethernet adaptor (BH# OWTB3ADP10GE), and TP-Link 5Gbps switch (BH# TPTLSX105) I was able to get Iperf results averaging 8.8Gbps over CAT 5e cabling. 5

[SFP+] I needed a few 10G SFP+ to RJ45 Adapters for my tp-link 10G router and 10G switches, where a DAC cable couldn't be used. B&H had them in stock, the lowest price, and the fastest shipping. Keep them spaced out and wear gloves when removing, they get a little warm. 5
