[Steel] The Impact 1 clamp is a well constructed clamp. The rubber is slightly longer, softer and thicker than the typical hardware store clamps that I have a ton of.


In the pics you can see a side by side of this clamp and the hardware store clamp. I started using both for a project and I really didn't beat them up too badly but the hardware store clamps plastic tip cracked and then had to be removed while this clamp still looks pretty good and is holding up well.


There isn't a ton to say about A clamps but I hope this helps. At the end of the day they all do the same thing but these ones should hold up a bit better to abuse than the cheaper hardware store counterparts.

[Red] The Impact 2 A clamp is a well built A clamp that should last you a long time.


A-clamps aren't too exciting but they sure are a handy and necessary item that you can't have too many of.


I have a bunch of hardware store clamps and the main difference for me between these clamps is the plastic tips.


In one of my pics you can see this clamp vs a hardware clamp that I've had for roughly about the same amount of time, in the yellow box you can see how quickly the cheaper plastic tips wear out.


These clamps are strong and they won't scratch anything up. It's a great addition to my grip box.

[Steel] Great clamp, great price, and, as always, a great value from Impact.

[Steel] I have many large clamps but sometimes you just need a small 1" ones to hold a cardboard black flag on a small thin stand when a real heavy flag on a C-Stand won't fit on Set.

I knew this clamp size was going to fit to what I wanted on this particular pole size, but when I actually tried it using it for the first time I realized it also won't mark or damage my cardboard, since it's size mostly grabs the stand pole fitting like a glove and very strong on the pole, but yet gently touches the actual flag due to the pole size and circumference.

Got a flag setup that's so light and easy to move around and secured! Very happy.

[Steel] Everyone should have spring clamps on hand for shoots. I use them all the time. I tend to use the 2 version the most, but these little 1 clamps come in handy for smaller applications all the time. I like how they can grip a c-stand arm. Having used a bunch of different clamps in my time, I can vouch that these are well made. I prefer steel ones like these over the plastic models personally. And they tend to last longer. These ones from Impact seem to be well made and give a nice strong hold. The plastic protective covers also seem snug and do not come off very easily like some other brands, which is great. [Steel] There isn't a ton to say about an A-clamp. The most notable thing to me about these little clamps are that they are of high quality. I have tons of A-Clamps and most of them have come from hardware stores.


When I compare these to the ones I got from the hardware stores these are of a much higher quality.


The plastic is thicker so it should hold up better over time and the clamp is a little more rigid.

[Steel] Love having spring clamps on hand for shoots, and these do the trick. They seem well made and strong. I've used many different clamps in my time and these work very well. I like that they have a firm grip, but can still be opened with one hand. I also like that the plastic covers (red pieces) are on nice and tight. On some spring clamps these protective covers fall off too easily. These feel like they will stay in place, which is great as they help prevent scratches on whatever they are attached to and help with the grip. I use springs clamps for a variety of reasons, like attaching a black cloth to a c-stand for negative fill, hold a reflector in place, hold a bounce card, or any other application where I need to temporarily hold something etc.. I tend to use the 2 size the most, but like the 1 for some applications (I include a picture showing both sizes). Overall I feel these will be perfect and are a good price. 2 thumbs up.
