Q: 6. I'm looking for a definitive answer about whether or not the battery drains while the camera is being powered by USB. Page 285 of the user manual says "Insert the battery pack into the product to supply power via USB." That's clear enough, but some people are saying that the battery will drain while the camera is using USB power, which eventually forces a battery change. Is this true? If so, that would seem to make USB power somewhat useless.

A: Hi Bill, As long as the power is on, the battery pack will not be charged even if the camera is connected to the AC adaptor, etc. **Under certain conditions, power may be supplied from the battery pack supplementarily even if you are using the AC adaptor, etc.** For more info visit the link : https://helpguide.sony.net/dc/1910/v1/en/contents/TP0002869943.html?search=power

[314] You are not a professional unless you have this book on your shelf, hopefully you've read it. Knowing the extent and the limitations of the law is imperative now more than ever. Not just for your income but your physical well being at times. The public, police and many photographers have hazy opinions as to what you are doing. Get educated.

[314] I read an earlier edition years ago and finally decided to buy this one. Rather technical but this is what I like. The discussion of the history of lens designs and the schematics showing the lens designs is worth the cost of the book in itself. Everything from camera movements to loading film into film holders is covered. You cannot go wrong buying this book.
