Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this have light leaks? Customer image has a clamp

A: This product would not have light leaks around it.

Q: 2. I see this comes with alkaline batteries. We are interested also in purchasing the CHG3512-Charger. I was wondering what batteries work with this charging station?

A: You can use any NiMH AA batteries such as these: a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/823940-REG/Watson_aa_nm2300_AA_NiMH_Rechargeable_Batteries.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/823940-REG/Watson_aa_nm2300_AA_NiMH_Rechargeable_Batteries.html/a

Q: 3. Does this work with double sided emulsions like xray film?

A: The Stearman Press SP-445 Compact 4 x 5" Film Processing System (4 Sheet) has not been tested with double-sided emulsion film.

Q: 4. I have an Epson Stylus 2200 that still prints beautifully on Epson Velvet Fine Art paper. I bought some Epson Hot Press Bright, and found out there's no ICC profile for this paper on the Stylus 2200. The print comes out way off color using velvet FA settings. Yes, I did install the matte black ink. Any suggestions or workarounds for this problem?

A: You would need to use a spectrophotometer to create a profile for it on your printer.

Q: 5. can hot press bright be used with the surecolor p800?

A: Absolutely. It's beautiful. Load from the front like poster board.

Q: 6. Can the receivers in this package be charged with the Williams Sound CHG3512? Would be using NIMH batteries.

A: Yes. The R37 receivers are compatible with the CHG 3512 charging system.

Q: 7. WHAT IS THE ARCHIVAL RATING ON HOT PRESS BRIGHT?

A: My understanding is that the pigments used in Hot Press Bright and the paper itself are rated in excess of 200 years, but the issue is always modified by how the print will be displayed. There is some evidence that some fading will occur at certain light levels after about 50-60 years if exhibited in constant light over time. Also, there may be some differences in archival properties depending on characteristics of the print, with black and white images being having some differences with color prints, even when printed on Epson Hot Press Bright with Epson pigments. The bottom line is that prints are likely to outlast the print-maker, but after that, who knows. Probably too much is made over these issues now with digital images, since the file can be preserved and a reprint made should an image fade. No other art has ever had this possibility attached to it before. Many of Jackson Pollock's best paintings, for example, have already exhibited significant fading over time and restoration.

Q: 8. Is it only for Canon and Nikon lenses?

A: At this time, the FoCal Large Hard Target is only optimized for select Nikon and Canon cameras/lenses.

Q: 9. What is this core size?

A: The Epson Hot Press Bright Archival Inkjet Paper has a 3 inch core.

Q: 10. How many pages and the size of each page? Is ut printed two sided?

A: The Blue Crane Digital Guide: Quick Reference Guide for the Canon Digital Rebel XTi Digital SLR Camera is 4 inches by 5 inches with foldable, laminated hinges allow the inBreif to lie flat in your camera bag . This reference guide is 8 pages, printed on both sides.

[David Präkel] I read an earlier edition years ago and finally decided to buy this one. Rather technical but this is what I like. The discussion of the history of lens designs and the schematics showing the lens designs is worth the cost of the book in itself. Everything from camera movements to loading film into film holders is covered. You cannot go wrong buying this book.

[Routledge] I'm a worship pastor and I got this book to get good info on some purchases for the future. Not only does this book dive into the history of church technology but gets very specific and sites many examples. I found it extremely helpful for research and to better my knowledge on tech ministry. A must have for you and your team!

[Yes] You are not a professional unless you have this book on your shelf, hopefully you've read it. Knowing the extent and the limitations of the law is imperative now more than ever. Not just for your income but your physical well being at times. The public, police and many photographers have hazy opinions as to what you are doing. Get educated.

[9781350109858] No matter your skill or experience level, John's book is a great read and guide. His writing style explains techniques in ways pretty much anyone will grasp. For the Professionals out there it has little memories that might jog you.
Enjoy and thank-you John and Ken.
