[Foldable] A bit pricey! I know you're looking and hesitant for that reason alone, but I will say. It's a complete game changer for the A'series lighting set up. Pull out of its sleeve, pull, click & it's open. An assistant can hold this super light set up on location or mount to a stand with its quick securing knob.

[Foldable] First, I ended up buying this from my local camera shop as this was not available at the time I needed it. Second, this is an excellent product and really extends the usefulness of my Profoto A10. Produces a wonderful soft light. Third, and this is a negative, unlike several reviews both here an elsewhere, the Profoto Clic Gels DO NOT work well with this modifier. The magnet is just barely strong enough to hold both Clic Gel and A10. Your flash will fall off the softbox with the slightest movement.

[Foldable] I got the Clic Softbox for the A10 instead of the OCF adapter with free OCF softbox recently promoted by Profoto because I wanted a simpler set up with less pieces. I realize the OCF adapter is a simple and easy to use set up, but with that I'd have to carry at least two items (the adapter and separate modifier) plus a light stand. What I like about the Clic Softbox is that it's all in one and pops open like an umbrella. It folds away quickly. I can hold it in one hand if I want to. I realize I am limited to the softbox as a modifier for the A10 but I am fine with that. For the kind of shooting I do, it is more than enough. If I want something different I can mount any of my umbrellas to the A10. I also like that the Clic Softbox is designed specifically for the A10. I could be wrong but I have my doubts that the A10 would have enough power to work well with the larger OCF modifiers. I will save my OCF modifiers for my B10. In short I love my A10 and I love the Clic Softbox and I feel it was the right choice vs the OCF adapter. Having the portability has made it easier than ever to shoot in locations away from home whereas before I would never have dragged my lighting gear anywhere. The A10 and the Clic softbox make a perfect combination. Not to mention the light quality from the combination is stunning. I hope Profoto comes out with more magnet mounted modifiers just for the A10.

[White] I photograph a lot of shelter animals, so setting up lights frequently isn't practical. The Clic Softbox Octa is a terrific tool to use in these situations. I can put it on a lightweight stand to one side with the light aimed into the cage. If needed, I can also just hold the light in one hand and aim it as appropriate. Either way, it gives very soft and flattering light. I am very happy and highly recommend it.

[White] I have been lugging around my D2s and softbox for on location shoots, but no more! The quality of light and ease of set up with this softbox and the A1s is truly exceptional. The magnet attachment sets up in less than a second. The only drawback is that the profoto clickgels don't work with this...because they aren't magnetized, hopefully this will be updated. This sofbox is a game changer.
