Mobile business professionals no longer have to choose between portability and performance, thanks to the 13.5" Elite Dragonfly G4 Multi-Touch Notebook. The Elite Dragonfly G4 weighs just 2.2 pounds and uses a 177° hinge, making it easy to travel with and operate. While it may be lightweight, the Dragonfly also houses a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1335U 10-Core processor and 16GB of 6400 MHz LPDDR5 RAM, allowing you to run your business apps quickly and efficiently. Please note that the memory is soldered down and cannot be upgraded.

The 13.5" BrightView IPS display features a 1920 x 1280 native resolution, a 3:2 aspect ratio, 400 nits brightness, a 1500:1 typical contrast ratio, viewing angles of 178°, and coverage for 100% of the sRGB color gamut. Integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics delivers a sharp, clear picture, and you'll be able to output video to an external display using the Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1 outputs. The display is also a touchscreen, which allows you to utilize the touch features and functions in Windows 11 Pro to further improve accessibility and productivity.

For storage of your files, there's a 512GB PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 SSD. If you want to add external storage drives or other peripherals, the Elite Dragonfly G4 features two 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 4 ports that support DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery. There is also one 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port which doubles as a charging port. Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) is built-in for wireless networking and Bluetooth 5.2 technology will allow you to connect additional compatible peripherals. Other integrated features include a 5MP IR webcam with an integrated privacy shutter, plus face-detection security and system unlocking via Windows Hello. Also featured are dual mics, 1W stereo speakers with Bang & Olufsen HD audio, and a touch fingerprint sensor for fingerprint authentication.

The Elite Dragonfly G4 includes a 65W USB-C power adapter and may also be operated using its Long Life 6-cell / 68Wh lithium-ion polymer battery that supports fast charging of up to 50% in 30 minutes and lasts for up to 20.75 hours before recharging is required. The installed operating system is Windows 11 Pro (64-bit).

[Yes] After one month of steady use, I can h I was interested in upgrading to a quality, reliable laptop with good battery run time. onestly say that I am extremely satisfied with my new Dragonfly G4. I chose the Core i7 3365U CPUwith Touch Screen, a 512 GB SSD, 16GB of RAM, and 5G Cellular capability. I have used or explored pretty much all of its features and can say that every single one works flawlessly. The 5G cellular feature works exactly as advertised once set up with my ISP. The display renders outstanding text and graphics and the touch screen feature works flawlessly. Saying this, I can say that I haven’t experienced a single mechanical or software issue while using it, including the Windows 11 Pro OS. When I chose to buy a G4, I was fully aware that it’s flexibility and powerful capabilities are geared more for the business and enterprise audiences. However, I was interested in upgrading to a high quality system after using my seven year old Windows 10 unit that has been deemed non-upgradeable to Windows 11 due to its CPU incompatibility. I must mention that I am extremely impressed with the G4’s battery run time, too. I’ve tested the run time by streaming Web-based content and DVDs over various periods and the battery has never failed to deliver a sufficient charge state of less than twenty-five percent. It just goes on and on and on! To summarize my opinion of the G4, I have no regrets investing in such a powerful portable system. All I can say is, man did I hit the jackpot choosing the Dragonfly G4. This machine is powerful and packs a heavy punch as far as features and performance goes. It has been reliable and really pleasant to use so far. Again, the Dragonfly G4 is not cheap by any means. But it is hands down the best portable system I’ve ever used and owned. I am not some computer techie or expert guru. However, I have sense enough to know that HP really produced a real jewel that any manufacturer is hard pressed to beat. Outstanding system!!! 5

[13.5"] Overall a great device, but 8GB RAM feels a bit restrictive. I use the Linux VM for personal programming and learning. I have a similar device, company-issued, the enterprise edition with 32GB RAM, and that's awesome. I think, for a personal general programming, a 16GB RAM configuration would be just right. 5

[Glossy] I bought the i7 version with 32 gig of RAM. Build quality is excellent. Very lightweight for the performance. Runs cooler than any laptop I have ever owned. My one complaint is the lack of dedicated Page Up/Down Home and End keys. You have to press a function key in combination with one of the four cursor arrow keys to move up or down quickly. My 2020 HP Spectre X360 is almost exactly the same size as the Dragonfly, yet HP managed to fit dedicated Home, End and Page Up/Down keys on the keyboard. For a high end laptop like the Dragonfly, it's inexplicable that they could not fit dedicated versions of these four frequently used keys on the keyboard. Other than this one issue, the laptop is fast and a perfect travel companion. The built in full size HDMI port is a nice touch for connecting an external monitor or projector. The touchpad is responsive and accurate. Battery life is great so far. Despite my one complaint about the keyboard, I would buy it again, but for this price, one expects perfection, not almost perfection. 5

[1920 x 1280] a lightning fast and light new PC. got it a week ago, and it is a productivity beast. I bought the highest configuration. great 3k screen, fast cpu and so on. I also love the amazing camera too (finally bluring and zooming on my face, with high def), and bluetooth 5.3 new implementation. battery life can last 10 hours as well. highly recommend it (and I recommend you go for the higher end). On the slight minuses: the weight of my config is 1.2 kg instead of 1kg as announced in the specs. 5

[178 x 178°] I purchased the HP DragonFly Elite i5 Chromebook in December of 2022 to replace my Google PixelBook. The build quality of the laptop is solid, the display is bright and clear, and the colors displayed are sharp and crisp. The keyboard has a good tactile feel and is well-backlit. You can press the Hepatic touchpad in any area and get the correct response and the feedback from the pad is excellent. So far the performance of the unit has been excellent and I am very pleased with it. 5
