Integrate rod-compatible accessories into your tripod- or shoulder-mount configuration using this Falcam Baseplate with Dual 15mm Rod Clamps. The baseplate features two 15mm rod clamps which allow you to incorporate accessories such as battery plates, matte boxes, or follow focus systems into your gear loadout. Attach your camera of choice to the baseplate via the camera mounting screw and then to a tripod using the multiple 1/4"-20 threads and single 3/8"-16 thread.

You can even attach the Falcam F50 quick release system for more efficient mounting and dismounting. Locking knobs secure your baseplate along the rods, and nonslip rubber padding ensures your equipment stays in place without damage. The baseplate is constructed of aluminum alloy to ensure durability while remaining lightweight.

[Aluminum] This is a nice mounting plate for a camera rig. Can hold a decent heavy load with 12 carbon fiber rods you have to buy separately. 5

[Aluminum] I was on the fence about this plate. There are other plates similar but SmallRig tops them all. I have the rods and a cage so this plate made sense. Always good quality and fast shipping. I buy everything SmallRig 5

[Aluminum] I purchased four of these to make my own quick release assemblies for four different camera setups. They are heavy duty and when accessorized with Manfrotto, Axler or any other quick release plate system you have an instant setup for pretty much any camera you decide to use. I've attached rods to all four of my setups and in about thirty seconds I can modify it as a shoulder rig system with a Shape offset forward handle and shoulder pad attachment or a sophisticated tripod mount system ready for any accessory to attach to the rods or the various cages I've purchased from B&H. I've literally saved a bundle building my own rigs piecemeal with this product. I like it so much I've purchased four. 5

[Aluminum] Great item does as it’s meant to. Solid construction and once it’s got rods on it with a tripod baseplate on the bottom you’ve got a super secure yet small and solid setup. The bottom of the clamps have a 1/4” hole for the common 1/4”-20 screws you’d use on a tripod baseplate. The clamp itself is hollow all the way through this screw hole, so if you’ve got 1/4”-20 screws that aren’t exactly standard in length or precisely like the manfrotto ones, they’ll still work totally fine since the screw just keeps going in until it reaches the other side. Though keep in mind that the side hole you see in the photos will be unusable if the bottom screw is too long since it’s taking up the space inside the clamp. 5

[0.41 lb] One thing I would have wanted in retrospect would be a bottom cheeseplate rather than it being open but its a small thing and isn't a deal breaker by any means. 5
