[Blue] I previously had the Ipad 1 holder, and it still looks the same as the day I bought it. Why? Because these things are built like little tanks. There really isnt anything that could go wrong with them. Now I have the Ipad Air holder, and it seems to fit even better than the original. Maybe more snug is the word. Love these for my voice over recording studio. 5

[Yes] I chose this case over the Otterbox because I wanted the choice of a screen protector over a built-in one. It feels very well built and solid, I haven't had any issues with the rubber part slipping out from the plastic frame. The stand is very sturdy and useful, although it's not able to prop up in portrait mode which is kind of a bummer but not a huge loss. I love that it has holder for the Apple Pencil. Overall I love this case and feel it was worth the money for the quality and protection it provides for my iPad. 5
