Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is it compatible with Nikon 850? Any other better kit, suggestions?

A: The FotodioX Macro Extension Tube Set for Nikon F-Mount Cameras: for Extreme Close-Up Photography is a manual macro extension tube set that would be compatible for use with the Nikon D850 DSLR Camera. If you want a set of macro extension tubes that will retain automatic electronic communication between the camera and lens (which would allow you to retain autofocus and automatic exposure capability), the Vello EXT-ND2 Auto Focus Extension Tube Set for Nikon F-Mount Camera and Lenses, B&H # VEEXTND2, would also work for your usage needs.

Q: 2. Does this product come with both the 90 degree tube and the straight lens tube?

A: Yes, the AstrHori 18mm f/8 90-Degree Direct View Macro Probe Lens (Micro Four Thirds) comes with both lenses.

Q: 3. How much is the weight of light with battery on surface and underwater?

A: The Shimoda Designs Large DV Core Unit (Parisian Nights)is not compatible with the Shimoda Designs Explore 60 Backpack. You need the Shimoda Designs Action X70 Backpack or the Shimoda Designs DV Roller. Here are the links: https://bhpho.to/3EDWQdh https://bhpho.to/31HLpmm

Q: 9. I have a Fuji XE2 with the 18-55 kit lens. Is it compatible?

A: Yes. This will work with any X-mount Fujifilm camera. Keep in mind that this is a manual-focus only extension tube with no electrical contacts. You will need to enable "lensless shooting" in the menu of your XE2.

Q: 10. Will this connect to an FTZ adapter? Even if there is no electrical connections.

A: Yes it will , with no electronic connection it means you would have to do everything manually (focus and aperture control ) assuming your lenses are D line ore manual F mount not G type

[1.805 lb] As alway, B&H came thru when no one else could. These days, it's hard to get parts for my underwater camera housing. B&H came thru.

[Black] This was purchased as a gift for my boss to use on his boat. He immediately started playing with it, and figured out all of it's functions without the instructions. The lightweight design makes it more comfortable to use that standard binoculars, and leaves a hand free for steering. The shipping was amazingly fast, and well packaged. The instructions have several different languages, which makes it mildly difficult to find your language.

[Black] I have a Tamron 90mm Macro and the auto focus is way too slow underwater. There is no particular focus gear for my lens, but I measured it up to the closest Nikon lens and bought this gear. Previously, I had to put the lens on manual focus and then move the housing forward and backward to get focus going. This was very limiting and frustrating. The gear comes with an o-ring you cut in small pieces and position inside grooves of the ring. It fit to my lens easily. I was hoping I could use this gear on my other lenses as well because it's quite an expense to pull out for one gear. I was delighted to see it worked on the 18-55 and 80-200 and my Tokina 10-17 zoom rings with very little modification. I also use my housing for surf photography, and this gear opens up a new universe. It's solid construction and the adjustable o-ring system is simple and effective.

[1.805 lb] I've had superior reliability using this Sea & Sea 2-pin sync cable with a Sea & Sea housing and a Sea & Sea Y sync cable. I've been using this cable for more than a decade, and it has never failed, except when I flooded my housing (twice) and I replaced the cable out of an abundance of caution. I prefer hardwired strobes as I never have to replace flash repeater batteries, or deal with fiber optic cable connectors that don't like to stay put.
