A: The dummy battery will not fit. This is the correct one for the A7S2: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1203225-REG/indipro_tools_v_mount_battery_and_plate.html

Q: 2. Does this work with the C200?

A: Hello Shawn, Thank you for your question! Indeed, our Cheeseplate V-mount works perfectly with the Canon C200. We hope this helps and we thank you for your interest in our products. The SHAPE team.

Q: 3. Does it allow you to tilt the battery?

A: Yes!

Q: 4. How long can the battery keep the c200 alive?

A: This is a 100 Wh battery and the C200 has a typical power consumption of 19.3 Watts while recording. You should expect to get around 5 hours of recording time with this battery.

Q: 5. Can you charge this battery using the Core SWX PB70C PowerBase Charger B&H # COPB70C MFR # PB70C?

A: That combination has not been tested or reported and so will not be able to recommend it. We would suggest using the recommended charger rather than risking damaging the battery. Gripper Series Gripper Single Battery Fast Charger B&H # GRGR1C.

Q: 6. Can I charge the battery with any d-tap charger or it has to be the Gripper Series Charger?

A: No, I highly suggest using the dedicated charger for the unit at it is rated and regulated properly to charge the unit within a 3-4 hour window. Gripper Series Gripper Single Battery Fast Charger https://bhpho.to/3rXPyM4 using a third part charger could cause damage to cells in battery or worse.

Q: 7. What d-tap cable do I need to power my bmpcc with the Gripper?

Q: 8. With the Gripper, what cable do I need to get this to Power Canon Cinema EOS C300 Mark II?

A: Switronix makes a special D-Tap to LEMO Power Cable specifically for the C300 Mark II. You could try using this cable to power the C300 Mark II with the GR-100 Clip-on Battery.

Q: 9. What cable will I need to buy to make this gripper battery work with the Sony FS7?

A: I would not use this for that application! Stay with the Sony batteries. This is great for a 2nd rig (A7-monitor). FS7 needs their battery. And you really should buy the Sony XDCA-FS7 extension mount so you get time-code and all of the other goodies..

Q: 10. Is it include Charger or not ?

A: The GR-75 does not include a charger. You would need to purchase the Gripper Single Battery Fast Charger or Dual Battery Fast Charger as well to charge this battery.

[1.72 lb] I use this with a MixPre-3 and a hirose-to-d-tap cable.  Works as expected.  Its awesome to be able to power the MixPre off camera battery.  Would buy again.

Only suggestion I have is that if you do use this to power your MixPre, and if you feed a signal back into your camera (i.e. not just record to the MixPre, but also send a scratch track signal from the MixPre to the camera), then you will want to get a ground loop isolator to put in your signal chain.  Otherwise the in-camera scratch track will have interference noise.  (The internal MixPre recording remains pristine.)

[14.4 VDC] This adapter could be sold by dozens if it was better marketed. It is a fantastic idea for anyone with on set monitors (focus pullers, camera ops, video village) . Worth EVERY penny. Hot swap is the bomb.

[100 Wh] I was looking for a small, low profile power system to power my Sony A7Sii, monitor, follow focus and wireless transmitter. I bought this with the Hawk-Woods 98Wh and 150Wh Mini V-Mount batteries. Since the plate comes with 4 built in D-Tap receptacles I am able to have one small but powerful battery source for everything. The plate also takes my full size V-Mount batteries should I need them in.

[100 Wh] Honestly I just got it and I'm positively shocked at what a great idea this type of rigging is and how well it seeems to take weight. I've got Hytron batteries on it which are INCREDIBLY heavy and while I wouldn't recommend doing it too much just knowing it can take it in a pinch is great. Great build quality. A idea, A execution

[100 Wh] Even though it seems to be of a design that may fail, I have used it non-stop for two years of Production Sound for double system film sound recording and it has worked perfectly. I actually bought two of them in case one failed, but so far I have only used one. It is much better than the one made by Sound Devices, because it has a lower profile when fitted with an XL-B3 battery pack. A professional will pay attention to what they are doing when inserting and removing this, and will never have problems!

[100 Wh] This Ikan product delivered what I expected. A good solid build and function. One minor negative is that there is a power switch that does not seem to actually control any of the output ports.

[14.4 VDC] Great unit! It has the best selection of D-Tap ports in its class and mine has worked flawlessly for a couple years now. The adjustable arm is also great for accommodating different shoulder rig configurations.

[100 Wh] This should be the standard battery sled for the Mixpre ii. I don't know what Sound Device is thinking when they design the AA battery sled. Huge design failure!. Keep falling and never securely locks.

I like this sled better (Sound Device has one too). And when using it with Sony NP-F7XX, it last up 8+ hours (4 times longer than AA battery), and I'm sure it will last up to 12 hour (6 times longer) when using Sony NP-F9XX.

The only cons is it's super thight. Don't use it if you plan to remove the sled very often. I suggest use USB-C port for file transfer when using this.
