It is all you can ask for if you are wearing shorts, light weight causal pants, sweat pants and top and want to carry your wallet, keys , i-phone. It has many front pockets and 2 deep pockets on the left on the right sides. I can deep carry my i-phone in this. I can place my right hand into the side pocket holding the phone with room to spare.

[0.7 lb] Mostly I shoot soccer and baseball, so lugging a backpack is not one of my first preferences. I can carry a pretty good kit with me without having to carry my backback. I should probably have gone with an X-Large as my gut has grown more lately.

[0.7 lb] Very happy with the vest. Buy your T-shirt size and it should work fine. I bought both a medium and large...I use the large while wearing a coat under and the medium in hotter weather. There are more pockets than I realized. I carry my H4n zoom audio recorder in one pocket, a couple extra lenses in another and my camera in another along with all my filters, cards, batteries, and a small light in the back. There are two sets of pockets in the front and another inside as well as a huge one in the back. It feels light while wearing it minus the gear and feels like much higher quality than the price It folds into nothing and is very helpful to have materials on your person even when my bag is on the floor next to me.
