A: The input voltage for this AC adapter is 100-240VAC while the output voltage is 8.4V. This is listed under the specifications tab for the item.

A: According to the user manual for the S5iix you can use the DMW-AC10 AC adapter but you also need the DMW-DCC17 to fit in the battery port.

A: I contacted Panasonic with your inquiry. According to Panasonic, the Panasonic AC adapter (VSK0815F, indicated as item #4 on page 9 of the Panasonic Lumix DC-G9 Mirrorless Camera's Basic Owner's Manual under Standard Accessories) which is included with the Panasonic DC-G9 purchase is the correct AC adapter designed for use to continuously power the DC-G9 Digital Camera. It is designed for use with the USB cable included with the camera, and it both powers the camera and charges the battery when connected to the USB port on the camera. Panasonic does not list the DMW-AC10 AC Adapter as compatible for use with the Panasonic Lumix DC-G9 Mirrorless Digital Camera.

Q: 9. Since both the Panasonic GH3 and GH4 use the same DMW-DCC12 DC Coupler, can I use the DMW-AC10 power adapter with both the GH3 and the GH4? This avoids me having to buy a DMW-AC8 AC Adapter for the GH3 that will not work with the GH4. Is there an amperage difference between the two couplers?

A: I purchased the DMW-DCC12 to use with the DMC-FZ 1000, so I can not help William. However, I did want B&H to know that the FZ 1000 also requires a DMW-DCC8 in order to attach the adapter to the camera. To use the DCC12 you must remove the camera battery and put the DCC8 in the battery compartment and then plug the DCC12 into the DCC8. At the time I learned this, B&H did not carry the DCC8, so had to purchase it from Panasonic's part supplier. I looked at the manual for the GH4 online and it looks like the DCC12 can be attached directly to the camera without needing the DCC8, but I am not sure. Sorry that I could not be of more help. I just purchased a GH5 and per Panasonics recommendation, I only use OEM batteries and accessories. Yes this is more expensive but using cheap knockoffs can and will void your warranty and for such an expensive camera, why risk it? The oem dummy battery has been on back order longer than promised so I have not yet actually used this product. From the looks of it, the build quality is amazing. Fit and finish are exactly as you would expect buying from the original manufacturer. I have complete confidence this will work perfectly when my battery comes to me. 5

I got a DMW-DCC17 dummy battery and use this to power my Panasonic GH6. It works perfectly, exactly as expected and advertised. Of special note is that the cord (between the adapter and the camera) is of sufficient length to give some flexibility in how and where I mount the camera vs where and how I mount the adapter during filming. Since the power cord portion itself is both standard and separate from the adapter, I was able to purchase a second cord (from a third party) to have the power cord permanently installed in two locations, moving my camera between the two. This resulted in the most flexible and reasonably affordable solution that fit my needs accordingly. 5

Panasonic and B&H sites don't come right out and say it, so one needs to do some research – or call B&H Customer Support - to learn that photographers with Lumix cameras that use DMW-BLK22 batteries need this DMW-AC10 AC Adapter and the DMW-DCC17 Coupler (fake battery) to externally power their cameras. While there are probably other manufacturers making external power dongles that may work, this is the only combo that probably won’t void your warranty should problems ensue. The Lumix S5, S5IIX, GH5, GH5II, G9, G9II and probably some others are among the cameras I know of. 5

Got it for my GH5 and works very well, used the extra D-Tap for my monitor which has no issues too. Depending on how heavy the battery is, you need to screw it to the rods very tightly (if you want the battery in an upright position) so I'm not sure how durable it is. 5

Even though it seems to be of a design that may fail, I have used it non-stop for two years of Production Sound for double system film sound recording and it has worked perfectly. I actually bought two of them in case one failed, but so far I have only used one. It is much better than the one made by Sound Devices, because it has a lower profile when fitted with an XL-B3 battery pack. A professional will pay attention to what they are doing when inserting and removing this, and will never have problems! 5

I was worried about its ability to hold up...its not an issue. Goes with the DC battery slot piece bought separately. No more concern about battery times for indoor shots. Life Changer --- worth every penny! Im buying another for by other GH5. 5

This works as advertised. I have more peace of mind purchasing the official Panasonic version, which has an apparent good build quality. There are many generic, cheaper versions but some have reported effects to the camera. 5
