A: The lens is very quiet and a hotshoe mic will not pick up any lens noise.

A: The NiSi UHD UV Filter for Select FUJIFILM X100 Series Cameras does not block the built in flash.

A: The Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S Lens is only compatible with Nikon full frame mirrorless Z cameras. It is not compatible with Nikon full frame DSLR cameras.

[Glass] This filter is a necessity for the Fuji x100V. It looks like it is part of the camera and the best part is that you can use the original lens cap with this filter attachment. So happy they make these. 5

[UV] Excellent construction, perfect fit, clear filter, seals out dust and rain, and keeps camera small, which is what I was seeking. OEM lens cap fits it as well. I don’t want a big hood on my little camera, and if there’s direct light, I shield it with my hand. 5

[UV] As others have said, this is a well-designed and built all-in-one filter solution to seal the front lens element from the weather, at a reasonable price. The Fuji lens cap fits it perfectly. The color match for the silver camera may not be exactly perfect, but it's very close - close enough that I think it looks like it is part of the camera. With the lens cap on, this filter adds 1/4 to the thickness of the camera (I measured). I was originally considering not adding a filter (I don't shoot much in wet weather), but looking at the front element of the lens move in and out when turning the camera on, I concluded that this filter would keep dust out of the lens, if nothing else. A composite image is attached showing the camera with and without this filter, with and without the lens cap. Some folks have commented that their filter came loose from the ring. I haven't had it long enough to know if that might be a problem. I'll try to always use the lens cap when the camera goes into the bag, to hopefully prevent that from happening. 5
