This 4K HDMI Extender with IR/ARC/PoC/RS-232/Ethernet & Audio Embedding/De-Embedding from BZBGear handles HD audio and video at resolutions up to 4K60 4:4:4, along with RS-232 control signal passthrough, bidirectional IR, ARC, and HDBaseT signals to distances up to 230' over a single, separately available Cat 5e/6 cable. The HDCP 2.2 compliant system features advanced EDID management and is comprised of a transmitter and receiver set that supports a wide variety of HDR flavors, including HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG to provide you with rich color contrast and accuracy.

Power over Cable (PoC) functionality allows you to connect power to only the transmitter or the receiver to ensure both units have power via the Cat cable. The system supports audio embedding and de-embedding, and it handles a wide variety of audio formats including LPCM 7.1, Dolby 5.1, Dolby True HD, DTS 5.1, and PCM 2.0. The units are protected by their sturdy metal enclosures for durability.

A: The DVDO HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor will take the input and output it the way it came in, i.e., if it comes in as stereo, it will output it the same way.

Q: 3. Is the output on this device ARC compatible? I have other inputs plugged into my tv, and want to make sure that audio will also be extracted.

A: This extractor does not have ARC.

Q: 4. Will this output 1080p 120hz on my ps5?

A: No, this is an extractor that will only support the following video compressions 4K2K @ 50/60 Hz (YUV 4:4:4) 4K2K @ 30 Hz 1080p @ 120 Hz 1080p 3D @ 60 Hz

A: Yes. Audio format must be set for 2ch top accommodate both audio at sometime.

Q: 6. Does this support Dolby Vision?

A: We're afraid not. This product does not support Dolby Vision.

Q: 7. I have a LG OLED TV that outputs only one audio. For example one HDMI to a sound bar OR one optical to my hearing aid device. I want to use my sound bar AND my hearing aid through the optical. Will this do the trick?

A: The HDMI output will still have audio on it. If the sound bar you are using has an HDMI input then yes, this should in theory do the trick.

Q: 8. Will this accept video output from a video camera (C200 specifically)?

A: The Comprehensive 4K HDMI Audio Extractor is designed to take a 4K signal from devices that can produce that signal, though it has not been tested with cameras. Technically, the Canon EOS C200 Cinema Camera (EF-Mount), B&H # CAC200EF, should be supported but has not been tested.

[1920 x 1200] I needed a closed circuit setup to monitor our chorus' performance from inside the theatre to out in the lobby where chorus members not on stage and others not inside the theatre could watch our show. �I set up a Sony HXR-NX100 on a tripod at the back of the theatre and ran the HDMI cable out into the lobby to an HD TV set. �Two HDMI cables were linked with the Black Box for a distance of about 50' and we achieved perfect picture clarity avoiding use of a much more costly Blu-ray wireless setup. �Gaffer tape was used to secure the HDMI cables safely. 5

[1.995 lb] I have 3 of these in the theater I operate, and have had zero problems in the 2 years I've had them. Competing brands I've had would randomly drop sync, and were hard to get to connect. With this one, just plug in the receiver end, then the transmitter end (+ power), and it just connects! I've yet to have one of these drop signal, or even glitch due to sync loss. It's a solid unit at a fantastic price. 5

[9.8 x 7.8 x 3"] I installed these in a sale barn between a 4K video camera and a large screen monitor. I used a 130' CAT6 cable between the transmitter and the receiver. The Extender worked perfectly. I give it 5 stars! 5
