[0.065 lb] I did not experience any issues with this housing fitment with my camera. At nearly half the price of the other two manufacturer's models, I'm happy with my decision. As well, the customer service and technical support at Ikelite is very responsive. Simply being able call to speak with a knowledgable person is almost unheard of in this day and age. I need to give a shout out to B&H, their fulfillment/shipping was stellar. I received my product next day.

[0.065 lb] I own the TG-5 and TG-6, this is a great housing for the five but the 6 does not fit at all. The body is too wide, and removing the strap attachment doesn't help. Do not buy for the TG-6

[0.065 lb] Not much to say about a housing tray. Dual handles for dual strobes. Solid construction keeping everything secure both in the water and out.

[0.065 lb] I bought the ikelite house obviously to take underwater shots for the beach. nothing to complain about here. Just make sure you slap in a full battery so you don't have to stop and swap it mid swim. It has a slightly positive boyency, not crazy you probably won't notice it. All the controls are accessible tho it might be hard to see the monitor under intense sunlight at the beach.

[0.065 lb] This add on grip holds securely with #M adhesive backing. This is a second purchase for use on another camera. Great product!

[0.065 lb] After years of working with a modified tray, I changed it out for the Ikelite with quick release handles. Made for a nice clean setup. The Quick release make it easy to detach the arms and lights so you can work on your camera (change batteries, view photos, etc) and reattach them in seconds. Handles are a good size and comfortable (even with drysuit gloves). There was even a easy way to install a addition bracket for my GoPro without compromising real estate on the tray or added too much additional weight with extra fansenter and brackets.

Very happy with the new set up. Ergonomic, comfortable, stable, and the quick release is a great bonus feature!

[0.065 lb] Ordered this after chatting with the great people at b&h. It was their recommendation and I don't regreat it!

[0.065 lb] The buttons, wheels and levers seem a bit much when you take it out of the box. BUT when you load your camera and lens (D780 Nikon for me) the buttons, wheels and levers are all intuitive and right where they're supposed to be. A couple of the levers or triggers are used for the shutter, AF, etc. BUT they are also pretty intuitive for diving.


Two things I suggest that they should just sell with the kit.
1) the vacuum pump should come standard. The peace of mind it gives is worth every penny.


2) you're going to need the optional weight arm. This rig with an extension and the large dome is not a little buoyant it is very buoyant. I added the weight holder arm with 2lbs for fresh water and get a great natural buoyancy.
