Q: 1. Does the back part where the gopro goes on the dome is like the protective gousing that gopro sells? Or is the gopro open in the backside of the dome?

Q: 2. What is the Matthpole made of? Will it stand up to having standard theatre instruments (ETC Source 4) clamped to it or would it dimple?

A: The Maxi Matthpole is made of heavy duty aluminum and would be able to hold an ETC Source 4 unit without an issue.

Q: 3. Can it actually reach 15 feet? Other vendors list the max reach as 14' 10", I need something for a ceiling that's exactly 15'.

A: Matthews website spec is inconsistent. In claims 178" and just under 15' in one paragraph and 187" in another. Shorter number is the one to go with. I've used blocks of 2x4s and 2x6s to add a little rise.

Q: 4. How much weight can they take?

A: Approximately 10-15 lbs

Q: 5. What's at the end of the poles? I need to convert both ends to 1.5 inch diameter so that they fit in my Matthews Wall Spreaders.

A: The Matthews Maxi Matthpole (Black, 8 - 15') BH #MAPMM95178 is not suitable for use in a wall spreader. You will want to get a single piece of pipe.

Q: 6. My LED panel is a bit uncommon size, it seems, 9.25"x13.6". Would I be able to use this product with it even if it's not the perfect fit?

A: it will work.

Q: 7. what is the diameter of this pole? are the ends temporarily removable?

A: The wider of the two poles has a 1.75" diameter, the smaller has a diameter of 1.5". The rubber ends are removable.

Q: 8. Will this fit the Aputure LightStorm LS1?

A: Unfortunately, no, it will not. It is slightly too small to fit on the Aputure LightStorm Ls1 LED light panel, and the built-in barndoors are also an issue. Chimera is making a Lightbank softbox designed for use with the Aputure LightStorm LS1, but I do not yet see it listed as available.

Q: 9. Hi, can the feet be removed and replaced? Thanks.

A: The feet on the Matthews Maxi Matthpole (Black, 8 - 15') can be removed but the replacement is the same exact one it comes with. There are no other options for feet.

Q: 10. Does this work well with the Dracast LED1000?

A: Yes, this will work well with the LED1000.

[White] The DMG Lumiere Dash Pocket LED is amazing, I've been experimenting and testing it out , I expected to be happy with it, but it is performing better than I expected. The attachments are great, the instrument is heavy duty and durable. It's small but packs a big punch, I'm sure I will add at least one more to my kit 5

[White] For just around 50$ you get a small portable softbox. Especially under time constraints there is no better way to have this on an Aputure MC or DMG Dash parked on a C-Stand and make someones eyes phenomenal looking. You can also create quick fills or in lower light situations use it as a key light as it is still pretty bright. 5

[White] This is one powerhouse of a small LED!!! So sturdy and rugged, extremely high quality. The accessories are a perfect match for this device. The Dome is a must have for the perfect eye light. If you do any macro floral work, this is great to have for edge light or any accent with full color spectrum at your fingertips. The APP works flawlessly & I've experienced zero issues with it. I've been using Rosco products for over 56 years & this is a must have for your kit!!!! 5
