A: Hi, I bought this D-ring about six months ago thinking I would be able to switch between plates and move my camera from my tripod to my gimbal quickly. Unfortunately the head on this D-ring was to thick and wouldn't give me enough clearance between the plate and the tripod head. This was just my experience with this product. Maybe you'll have better luck. I was also using the 504 long.

[7 x 4.7 x 0.65"] This clamp fits perfectly on the arm of my Air Cross 2. I use it on the roll axis arm to counter the additional weight added by the iFocus motor unit and larger lenses in my kit. The weight can be screwed into the clamp, and it also fits in any of the other 1/4 holes on the L-bracket that came with the Air Cross 2. Perfect balance every time, problem solved. 5

[Aluminum Alloy] Not much to these, but they are solid. The little O-ring at the end of the 1/4-20 male screw end is a nice touch. I'll be purchasing more of these. 5

[7 x 4.7 x 0.65"] I can't believe how easier it is to balance my camera on a gimbal (Zhiyun Crane 2) with this counterweight. Especially if you work outside in the wind and on the move. They should include these as a part of the kit when you buy your gimbal. I don't know why they don't. 5

[Silver] I love the centre screw for mounting hard up against cheese plate or rig. Holds it super secure. The case is really nice hard plastic too. Doesn't feel cheap. It's not a 3d printed part. Tested it running 3 devices from the one v mount. It's a tidy bit of kit. 5

[0.1 lb] If you have a camcorder with a rear-mounted battery, it's highly likely you'll need to counterbalance this if you purchase the DJI Ronin RS2. It's cheap, so just buy it now and save yourself the wait time. Although, B&H always kicks butt with processing orders and shipping. Thanks, B&H!! 5
