The Neewer EF to EOS M Lens Mount Adapterenables you to use your Canon EF and EF-S lenses with the Canon EOS M mirrorless digital camera system, which uses an EF-M lens mount. It is fully compatible with all lens functions, including image stabilization, electronic aperture control, and autofocus. A tripod adapter is provided for reducing strain on the camera when using heavier lenses. This mount can be removed for using longer telephoto lenses that feature their own tripod collar. And, included with the adapter are front and rear caps for storage.

The shutter without the adapter and lens sound clear but when I install the adapter with the lense the sutter sound goes down, you still hear it but not as load without the adapter and thd lens. Is this normal? Thank you

A: This is normal as you're adding space between the shutter mechanism and the lens, and that added gap and added material would muffle the sound of the shutter opening and closing.

[Metal] Saw a video on YouTube about how this adapter along with a low cost Sony E to M42 adapter would allow use of old M42 lenses on a Nikon Zf body WITH focus confirmation. I did not believe it would work but it does. You get Left and Right arrows and a circle to indicate focus (lower left corner of the screen pics) as well as the red focus box turns green when focus is achieved. It's nutty. I have been using the Zf with old lenses and red focus highlighting along with center button zoom to see how in focus it is. This is much faster and is spot on. If you focus and then check by zooming in, there is no little nudge it needs to make it sharper. This is such a game changer for the Zf and use of vintage lenses. In order to use M39 or some other mount lens I would just need to get another Sony E to M39 (or etc) adapter. 5

[Yes] I bought this adapter in order to use the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens with my Canon EOS R6 MkII. It works flawlessly!!! It is solid as a rock and there is no noticeable difference between using this EF lens and adapter to using an RF lens with my camera. I don not hesitate to recommend this adapter to anyone. 5

[Yes] Focus tracking, servo, all functions work great. Detachable foot takes QR plate and stress off the body. Looking fwd to a shoot with the little old Canon 50 ff/1.8. 5

[1/4"-20 Female] I looked at other brands that were a little less, purchasing used to save a few dollars, and purchasing the adapter new. I ended up purchasing new. I'm in the conversion to mirrorless for the long haul so a few dollars is going to go a long ways. 5
