The 500' long Black Genesis Series 18 AWG RG6/U QUAD-Shielded Broadband Coaxial Cable from Honeywell comes packaged in a reel in-a-box. It is a broadband and digital coaxial cable, tested for high standards to assure high performance in high-end home theater installations, incorporating HDTV and digital video. The cable has a foil shielding that protects signal transmission from EMI and RFI interference and blocks lower frequency interference.

A: I work at a tv station as well. We have found that 300 to 350' is max then you have to reclock your signal. If you have the test equipment, look at the eye pattern of your signal thru the cable. You will be able to see the degradation.
