A: These are brand new. Retail pricing is subject to many factors. The most important is what the manufacturer lets us sell it for. The only difference between the ED500 and ED500P is the fan specification. The ED500 is single stage as against the ED500P which is listed as 70 CFM .The remailer carton can be used to send it to the manufacturer for service.

Q: 3. What does three pronged european plug mean exactly? A grounded schuko or a flat pronged uk plug?

A: Mine was a two prong schuko, not three prong
