A: Because the Kondor adapter supports USB-C PD power it will negotiate with and deliver the correct power to the camera. We recommend using dummy battery solutions over USB-C because there is still a power drain. Keeping a battery in camera is the solution around this, however the battery will slowly drain when powering via USB-C

[0.045 lb] Connecting my Nucleus Nano to a v-mount battery has significantly increased the ease at which it can spin a focus wheel. It's a good option til I can afford one of the pricier follow focus units and helps keep my rig clean. 5

[0.045 lb] The Nano power cable is a necessity in my book. Some USB power banks may not have the umph needed to focus with stiffer lenses. Connecting the Nano directly to a V-mount battery with DTAP/PTAP ensures a solid power connection. Well work the extra cost! 5
