[1.29 lb] Even though it seems to be of a design that may fail, I have used it non-stop for two years of Production Sound for double system film sound recording and it has worked perfectly. I actually bought two of them in case one failed, but so far I have only used one. It is much better than the one made by Sound Devices, because it has a lower profile when fitted with an XL-B3 battery pack. A professional will pay attention to what they are doing when inserting and removing this, and will never have problems! 5

[Lithium-Ion] Very sturdy and yet simple hinge for batteries and honestly for anything else you need something like this for. Please note that the rods are themselves 15mm - they are not clamps or rod holders. You have to figure out a way to clamp them to your rig and/or connect them to other rods. 5

[14.4 VDC] Works well with SmallRig V mount batteries. It's fairly ligth. 15mm Rod clamp can be uninstalled if needed. Locking mechanism works well. Like various port it provides. 5

[1.29 lb] I use this with a MixPre-3 and a hirose-to-d-tap cable. Works as expected. Its awesome to be able to power the MixPre off camera battery. Would buy again. Only suggestion I have is that if you do use this to power your MixPre, and if you feed a signal back into your camera (i.e. not just record to the MixPre, but also send a scratch track signal from the MixPre to the camera), then you will want to get a ground loop isolator to put in your signal chain. Otherwise the in-camera scratch track will have interference noise. (The internal MixPre recording remains pristine.) 5

[14.4 VDC] I really like this battery plate because of the folding arm. Its easy to position on the BMPCC 4k to where I can still use the monitor. Its various dtaps give you some options. When tightening down a lot it still moves some with a pull but feels secure. 5
