The blue Honeywell Genesis Cat 6 Riser Communication Cable 1000'is a 1000' long cable that comes in a reel-in-a-box and is rated by UL and has #23 AWG solid bare copper conductors. [23 AWG] Wire installation is often a labor intensive process. If you are going to take the time, use quality materials. Not only is this high quality wire, but it is offered at a great price! Honeywell Genesis cable is my preferred choice for all low voltage wiring applications. 5

[24.9 lb] 1000 feet is more ethernet cable than I am going to be able to go through in a decade. I guess I could go ahead and wire up my entire house. At the price, it is the way to go for any extended runs because you just can't beat the price per foot with ready-to-go cables. And adding your own connections is not that hard with the right tools. 5

[Cat 6] We are using this wire to set up a IP-based multi-camera system all powered by PoE. This wire is solid-core and has pretty heavy sheathing, so it's a bit stiff to pull through walls. (This isn't so bad--I'd rather have a little too stiff than too flimsy.) The colors on the individual wires are bright, which is great after having dealt with other brands where the orange and brown are almost indistinguishable. So far the wire has held up well and we've had no issues with signal loss or power loss over 75- to 100-foot runs. It's not the cheapest wire, but it is a good value, especially for long PoE runs. Definitely recommended. 5

[Cat 6] I love the stand . Love the peg head supported style, nothing below for my straps to catch on. Also , I've been using wireless plug-in's instead of chords and the stand slows me to get the guitar up from the floor and I can leave the wireless in when I take a break 5
