A: Yes this can be used on many products that use standard 4 pin XLR input regulated at 12v

Q: 5. I have bought a used Sennheiser K6/ME66 mic from Amazon and purchased KA 600i from B&H. Now on testing on a simple recorder/iphone/laptop it doesn't work. I intent to order Sony PCM M10 and record bird sounds using the Mic. I may also connect the Mic to my DSLR for recording. I have now ordered a Hosatech XVM 105F cable. What cables would work for the intended setup and give balanced output to both L&R?

A: The KA-600i is designed for use with smartphones and will not make the proper connection with a standard mic input on recorder or DSLR. Sennheiser offers the standard KA-600 for these applications. In addition when using either adapter cable you must use a battery to power the K6 module.

A: The OLBOR D-Tap to XLR V-Mount Battery Cable is a 3 pin XLR cable.

A: This is a microphone connection only.

A: The Sony EC-1.5BX is designed to work with the Sony UWP wireless transmitters which have a mono input. This is not a stereo cable. An XLR microphone connection is not stereo. A similar cable may be used with a portable recorder and will transmit dual mono . This is simply the same signal on both left and right side.

Q: 9. Will this give the proper output level from a mixing console line level aux output to an iOS input?

A: The Sennheiser KA600i is not designed to connect line level devices to a smartphone. A hardware interface would be recommended for this application.

Q: 10. Hi! I would like to use this with an AVX microport receiver connected to an iPhone (acting as recorder). This haven't worked so far. The AVX puts out the max four bar level. What is the problem?

A: This adapter works with every iPod I have going back to one made in 2008. Audio levels are consistently good. I'll bump up the audio in post production at times. Use a dynamic with a hotter output (I use a Shure SM 63 or VP 64) to get higher input levels on your recordings.

Most dual chargers have a 4 pin XLR power outlet, which can be used with this cable with D-Tap hubs. With dual batteries, one can be hot-swapped without interrupting operations. The charger can also be connected to AC, with one or two batteries serving as an hot backup. 5

[0.045 lb] Currently using this adapter to power my TVLogic monitor on my FS7 while running a Anton Bauer mount on the back. Powering my entire rig off one AB batter rather than juggling 2-3 batteries during a shoot simplifies things and has such a better impression on clients. Nothing is worse than changing a battery and then 5mins later changing a battery on a different device. 5

P-tap connectors are generic but high quality. Cabling is 18 gauge with 8 of cable between the female P-tap and the XLR connector makes it versatile with different camera/accessory configs. [0.045 lb] I was looking for a small, low profile power system to power my Sony A7Sii, monitor, follow focus and wireless transmitter. I bought this with the Hawk-Woods 98Wh and 150Wh Mini V-Mount batteries. Since the plate comes with 4 built in D-Tap receptacles I am able to have one small but powerful battery source for everything. The plate also takes my full size V-Mount batteries should I need them in. 5
