Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What size are these Gobos? Would they fit a Godox VSA-36? Thank you.

A: The following units are a sz B and yes will fit.

Q: 2. Can I mount this to the Aperture LS 600d ?

A: Yes, the FotodioX Universal Gobo is based on a Bowens mount system and will mount to the aperture LS600d.

Q: 3. Can this be set up to work with dual monitors?

A: I'm sorry, this mount cannot support a dual monitor mount like the Ergotron 200 Dual Monitor Arm, and the manufacturer does not offer a dual monitor option.

Q: 4. Does it include the strap or I have to order it separately?

A: The Gobo Bounce Card connects directly to Speed Strap (sold separately B&H # HOSS).

Q: 5. I want to know if this product works with godox AD400 Pro

A: No, the Godox Standard Reflector with Filter Holder for AD300pro Flash Head is not compatible for use with the Godox AD400Pro Witstro All-in-One Outdoor Flash. According to Godox, the AD-R14 is not deep enough for use with the AD400Pro. If you need a gel kit with a grid, the Godox Barndoor Kit for AD400Pro Outdoor Flash, B&H # GOBD08, would be the correct option for use with the Godox AD400Pro Witstro All-in-One Outdoor Flash. While a dedicated reflector is included with the purchase of the AD400Pro, if you need a standard reflector, the Godox Standard Reflector (7"), B&H # GOADR6, would be compatible for your usage needs.

Q: 6. Can you use the gels and grid at the same time?

A: The filter and gels for the Godox Standard Reflector with Filter Holder for AD300pro Flash Head are designed to be used one at a time. However, if you force them into place (which may cause damage) they will fit imperfectly.

Q: 7. What is the maximum extension distance that can be achieved; is there a way to increase it?

A: Hello Gary. The max extension for the arm is 26in. from the wall to the back of the monitor. This might be increased by mounting a block of wood to the wall and fixing the wall mount to it. Then your reach would be extended by the thickness of the block used. Also, if you purchased an additional extension arm, you could increase your reach by a little over 9in. All the part dimensions are available on the Ergotron website

Q: 8. Is it usefull when shooting outdoors?

A: I can be useful to bounce the light. Using during the day will help lighten a subject and fill shadows.

Q: 9. this fit Balcar classic series right ? thanks

A: The FotodioX Universal Gobo Image Projection Attachment for Balcar Bayonet Lights w/ Built-In Gobo Holder & Aperture Iris BH #FOSNTGOBAL will fit a Balcar mount light.

Q: 10. I notice that the gobo's are rectangular with 2 shapes on each panel, will the unit accept circular gobo's from a 3rd party?

A: No, the FotodioX Universal Gobo Image Projection Attachment for Bowens S-Mount Bayonet Lights w/ Built-In Gobo Holder & Aperture Iris does not take third party gobos.

[0.82 lb] I use these in a Godox Spotlight to great effect. The spotlight/Gobo combination is a relatively inexpensive way to open your work to a new dimension.

[0.82 lb] Fit right into my S4 and the holder is nice and tight on the gobo so they stay put with on stage dancers and such.

[0.82 lb] I bought this set elsewhere, but people keep noting that THE PRODUCT IS BLUE, NOT SILVER. It's not blue. There's a protective blue film on the gobos that you're meant to peel off before using. Just peel it off, folks.

[0.82 lb] These are a little flimsy, but they are gobos - not building supports. For those poor reviews here - yes they have a blue film on them when they arrive - but it is literally easy as can be to remove. Just rub your thumb along an edge and it peels up - then just grab and pull. There is a nice plastic case with a snap lock included. I took a few shots with my Westcott Lindsay thingy and they work great. These are a fraction of the price of the Westcotts I also purchased and I now wish I had just stuck with these. If you have a gobo (or projector or whatever else your manufacturer of choice wants to call it) these should just be considered necessary. No complaints at all.

[0.82 lb] A versatile plate, you need to have the right grip gear to go with it, but if you do, the plate is a great addition to the Matthews collection of grip gear. I have used it for mounting a camera ball head, works quite well.

[0.82 lb] I bought this to replace a Domke Bounce card I had used since the 1980's or 90's (I had a few of them)The Domkes are no longer available but I think this is a fantastic replacement. A bonus here is that the unit is made from a flexible plastic so you can shove it any where or sit on it in a back pocket and it will not break or be harmed in any way

[0.82 lb] So much easier than the other monitor mount by Matthews. It’s lightweight strong and I have a 65 inch Tv on a Matthews roller stand. Works perfectly.

[0.82 lb] These work great, but are a bit flimsy, and the blue film is ridiculous. The best method I've found to remove the blue film involves curling your thumb over the edge of the gobo and dragging downward. Repeat this process a few times. You might need to try several positions around the edge of the gobo before finding one that works well. Once it starts peeling, lay the gobo on a flat surface, and you should be able to peel the entire film off easily.

The window/slat shapes look really cool and work great with the wider lenses to provide a very realistic effect.
