You can add two monitors with HDMI and thunderbolt 3 & 4. Plus this have 4 USB for headphone and keyboard. Also, you can add SD card to access pics. Also you can plug an Ethernet for quick wire internet transfer. It's all in one docking station that is small for space.

[Aluminum] I purchased this with my Glidecam HD2000. I knew it was not a necessity, but my thinking is, I want to make this process as easy as possible. I also was pretty sure my light stands were too fat for the Glidecam Handle to slide onto, and I was right. Having watched dozens of videos online of people holding it balancing it, I figured it would be easier to adjust everything by having this bracket so I wouldn't have to hold anything. Having this makes balancing a breeze. If you have any doubt about it, go ahead and trying it. The other thing is, it provides a safe place to put your camera when it's mounted at say a wedding. While the Glidecam does stand up on its own, I feel safer having this setup with the dock to place it onto when I need a break.

[Aluminum] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] first off, im 52 so i remember the OLD docking stations that turned your work laptop into a desktop at home or vice versa. this is one of those only much newer tech and super fast connectivity. that is the true spotlight of this docking station its possibilities of the ports it supplies. this product is superior to most others, but why the price? it is possible that you might have some initial issues with this working with your laptop but those were easily solved. highly recommended.

[3.77 lb] I was looking for the best solution for a dock. You are gonna need one if you want to balance your steadicam the right way. These things are hard to find but this is definitely a great buy plus you can fold it in half for easy storage.

[3.77 lb] Like many others, I feel the price of the docking bracket is too high, considering its simplicity in design with only a single moving part (the locking turn screw). But, if you own a Glidecam, it's a necessity. Balancing is a nightmare without it. You'll hate that you have to dish out another $ after buying your Glidecam, but I can tell you from personal experience that it is absolutely worth buying.

[Aluminum] I teleworked for a year trying to use my small, work laptop. Since I work for the government, I had no other options. When it became apparent that we would continue to telework, I decided to set myself up like my work office. I was assigned a new HP computer and immediately ordered the docking station that would accommodate it. We cannot use the USB ports on our computer for anything but a mouse (yes, we have to use a wired mouse!) so the docking station allows me to plug in two 24" screens, my external hard drive, my mouse and keyboard. It's just great to have all of those wires behind my system and my setup now is as good as it was when I was working in the office. This was money well-invested!
