[3.6 mm] I can recommend this device for any situations. Fog, rain and dust is not problem for this device. I drop it into water and use it after that! Crisp and clear image even in low light allows observation. Virtually no chromatic aberration in the observation of contrasting objects. 5

[10x] This is a very nice monocular. It seems quite clear and sharp, although I haven't compared it with very expensive binoculars or monoculars, but it is as nice an image as I can imagine. I have only 2 negatives, the focus ring is quite stiff (although it may loosen up) and it may be difficult to focus while wearing gloves, and the second thing is that the case is really not that great, it doesn't completely seal, it has a flap that velcroes in place, but it is open on the sides of the flaps, so snow and dust could get in. I put it in a neoprene lens case from B&H that works better, protects better, and is reasonably priced. 5

[36 mm] I use it literally every day on my walks along beaches of strait of Juan de Fuca and i watching birds and other wildlife from the deck of my house. Watching cruise ships going from Seattle to Alaska, giant cargo ships, Coast Guard vessels. We blessed with great nature here in PNW, and this little guy now helps me to have an closer look on everything around. Magnification is really stunning for such small device, crispy clear picture, ergonomic, lightweight, it easily fit in a pocket of my hoodie for a quick access in case i see something cool. Very happy with Vortex’s high quality and low price (i know, this two are rarely come together!). 5

[36 mm] Very clear, very sharp images from this tool. I use it for birding or other wildlife observation. Only gripe might be that the focus ring it very tight, I need to hold the body with one hand and twist the ring with the other. No biggie and I got used to it very quickly. 5

[Porro (K9)] Great little unit, easy to use, extremely clear, robust. A little on the heavy side to carry around your neck all day but attaching it to a belt or piece of equipment nullifies the problem. 5

[10x] Careful not to order the Model 80 by mistake. Also an Alpen Teton 10x42, but not with the Abbe prisms. These binocs are insanely bright. Like going from watching and HD movie to watching one in 3D IMAX. Very impressed with them for this price. I could have used a tad more eye relief but that's nit picking. 5

[3.6 mm] I've purchased 4 of these over several years. My wife and I each carry one when hiking (the other two were gifts). They are less cumbersome then binoculars to pack. The optics quality is great and you can't beat the warranty. 5
