[288-Pin DIMM] Box was damaged in transit but the protectors inside the box held the UDIMMs safe. I trust Synology to make a quality product and they've done so here. Everything working exactly as expected. 5

[DDR4] Not sure I needed this since DS923+ already comes with 4GB ram. Added this anyways to future proof it. If you decide to run applications on NAS, this will come in very handy - like VMs, Servers , Docker etc. Also slight pain the but once you are all setup and locked and you need to add this later on. - hence just added this. 5

[DDR4] The basic memory configuration with 4GB was a bit low - plugging in an additional 8GB was helping a lot! Plug in - works! 5
