[1 Mb] I was looking for a network switch for my office that could handle 10-gigabit connections over RJ-45 (to connect my PC and Synology NAS) but it was difficult to find one that didn't have negative reviews either due to heat or noise. I gave this switch a shot and it's worked extremely well so far. You can set it to use a quiet profile for the fans so that it's not quite as loud and it's been very reliable and performant so far. I can easily transfer While the unit is certainly not silent (the fans are small and can produce a high-pitch hum at times), it is quiet enough to be placed in my office and blends in with the fan noise from other devices like the NAS. Unless it's under a high load or I'm specifically listening for it, I don't even notice it. With larger transfers, I have seen transfer speeds of 550 MB/s to an SSD on my NAS, which is about what I would expect.

[1 Mb] Excellent managed switch at a reasonable price. User friendly web management, small form factor and quiet. Well suited for indoor use in a quiet environment. Very pleased.

[Yes] I am replacing another switch because I constantly had problems causing me to reset the system. Diagnosis, packet storms from IPTV devices. This switch has default packet storm blocking. As needed, I can segment the network by traffics type. So far, it has really helped.

[120 W] Netgear is my go to for small business networking equipment. The same feature set and quality as the "big guys" but with a simpler GUI interface and more palatable price. This nice little POE switch doesn't disappoint. It has several Netgear Access Points connected to it and with advanced features line VLAN it fits nicely in with my SonicWALL router for a secure network. I'm an IT consultant and I use these products for all my clients. I have yet to be disappointed!

[1 Mb] This is small but mighty. Fast internal bus, really simple user interface (it’s a switch, but it has good stuff like bonding that is really simple to set up).

[1.48 Mpps] I have primarily used HPE/Aruba switches for the last 20 years but they are becoming more and more expensive and more difficult to recommend to small clients. I tested out a Netgear M4300 3 years ago and it had all of the features I needed for a much better price.
This is actually the 4th Netgear M4300 model I have purchased and its a great device. It has a large feature set similar to the HPE/Aruba switches I have used before. The web and command-line interface are both fairly intuitive. The manuals are very detailed.

[1 Mb] I bought this for my unifi cameras. Managing POE power and network priority couldn't be easier with the app.
