Q: 1. Is the foam deep enough to hold a beltpack if placed towards to bottom along with a handheld ontop so i can have 4 of each wireless transmitters stored in the drawer?

A: The foam cut out depth is less than 2 inches, so that should work depending on the thickness of the belt pack transmitter/receiver.

Q: 2. Does the NTG-2 have a db pad? Like a -10db switch?

A: No, the RODE NTG2 Shotgun Microphone does not have a -10 dB pad, but it does have a switchable high-pass filter set at 80 Hz which can be used to remove low frequency noise that is not part of your intended source.

Q: 3. What is an affordable Pre-amp to use with this mic for a Nikon D750?

A: I bought the Tascam DR060D MarkII and have been happy with it. I've never used a pre-amp or recorder so it was a bit of an uphill climb to learn a bit about audio production. Now that I've experimented with it for some time I'm quite comfortable with it. It eats up batteries so you definitely want to use rechargeable batteries. I bought a LifeCharge external 16,800 mAh external battery. There's also a power option that works off of house current.Curtis Judd is knowledgeable about audio and he reviews the 60D MkII. You can search for his channel on YouTube. He also has a video wherein he reviews several recorders options. Sorry B&H doesn't want links in my answer.Good luck.

Q: 4. Can I use this mic for recording birds, rain and other nature sounds?

A: This is a directional condenser microphone. It is sensitive to picking up many different things if you are close enough to the sound source by a few feet.

A: I am sorry but the specifications for minimum and maximum height adjustments on the Headliner Covina Pro Controller Stand are not provided by the manufacturer.

Q: 8. Can I leave the AA battery in or do I need to remove it when I'm done recording?

A: You can leave a AA battery inside of the RODE NTG2 Shotgun Microphone as long as you will be using the mic again within a few days. Otherwise, it is always best to remove the battery from an electronic device that will not be used for a while in order to prevent damage from problems caused by the battery leaking.

[Gold] even though the mounting holes didn't match any on the ViewSonic projector I was using, it still is very stable yet easily adjustable. I used ratchet straps and zipties to make sure the projector didn't go anywhere!
